I just had a memory flash upon seeing this. We actually talked about it last summer. I had just come back from a long walk and was very hot. I plopped on my living room couch, turned a large fan on, drank some fruit punch, and read that thread.

I’d not watched this show in the 80s, too girly for me. But I got a lot of enjoyment out of the thread anyway, the passion about a 40 year old sitcom. I remember the hum of the fan.

I still say they should use these four actresses in a 'Golden Girls' reboot - the four of them live in Miami together in their late 50s / 60s. 'Jo' can be Dorothy, Blair can be Blanche, Tootie can be Rose and Natalie can be the new Sophia (not Jo's mother, but sarcastic and cranky). It could work.
