Paul Rudd is gay, huh? Well, that could explain his very plain looking wife. What about James Spader, his wife was also very plain homely looking, not sure if he's still married to her, but I do remember being very shocked when I finally saw what his wife looked like.

Spader doesn't exactly look great himself these days, R25. And he's a major fattie now.

I could care less what James Spader, or anyone else who is or might be gay, looks like. Of course, I realize gay men are overly obsessed with looks, but being gay doesn't mean a man has to be an Adonis or a woman has to be a goddess!

Seacrest is used to being the butt of the joke, pun intended. He knows on some level he's laughable but, ultimately, he's the one laughing--all the way to the bank.
Kathy Griffin told RS on his radio show that he was ridiculous, and that was why she went after him on stage. What could he say?
Evidently, he knows she's right. He just had dinner recently with her, Anderson Cooper, and Carson Daly. (That must have been an interesting group to the other diners: three closet cases and a faghag.)

R169, there was a story years ago either on here or on IHSG that Selleck went on Rosie and they didn't have a deal not to talk about gun laws. They're violently opposed to each other's positions, and it got heated when the topic came up, and someone said they began throwing insults and both of them were *thisclose* to outing each other.
That was when Rosie was Queen of Nice, and straight as far as all the housewives knew (and in love with "her Tommy").
I've never seen the clip. Don't even know if it aired. It might have been a story from someone who was at the taping (viewer or worker). Or it might have been made of whole cloth. But I remember the story well, because it was well-told and so funny to picture.
Other things I've read about Selleck: in person, he's more femme than Jillie Mack, who in person is butch.
by Anonymous | reply 170 | January 20, 2012 4:57 PM |
I showed on TV, I think it was soon after the school shootings in Colorado. Rosie was upset. It's hard to believe that the whole world didn't realize that Rosie was a lesbian. Lovitz-- "You know his boxing nickname is Iron Mike. Which is what the guards used to scream at him in the prison laundry. "
Tyson-- "I don't do that anymore Jon."
Lovitz-- Deadpan "Well I know you don't do that anymore Mike, you're not in prison anymore."
Tyson-- "Just making it clear, Jon."
And then Lovitz this dismissive hand motion. Also notable that Tyson is clearly drunk out of his mind. 11:00 in the video.

by Anonymous | reply 214 | May 28, 2012 6:17 AM |
R213, I think R212 might be referring to an interview or a press conference in the early nineties when Seles was asked if she was going to give her winner's speech in French if she won the French Open that year. A bit hazy on the details now, but Jim Courier had won the men's title the previous year, I think, and spoken in French during the trophy presentation. So anyway, Seles got talking about this and someone suggested that she get a French boyfriend who could teach her, to which she responded, "You mean, like Jim Courier did?" and then giggled.
I wouldn't read too much into that, though. Courier had been reportedly seeing a French girl around that time and Seles might have been referring to that. As she wasn't terribly fluent in English at the time, I have my doubts over this particular incident being an outing of Courier. Not that I think he's straight, mind you. I do think he pings a lot.

Lawless speaks with forked tongue sometimes. Saying she's all about gay rights and then taking every opportunity to remind that she's straight and how uncomfortable she finds playing lesbian sex scenes. Yeah. We know you're straight, Lucy. Let it go already.
Plus all of her flip-flopping on whether character of Xena was gay or not? Jees, all the cast and crew have said in interviews how a lot of the gayness was her creation and steering. Why the hell do it if you're so freaking awkward about it?

R236, what did Ted Allen say about Anne Burrell? I figured she was gay, but she never says anything. (Then again, Tabatha Coffey had her silly reality show, a guilty pleasure of mine, for several years before starting to be open that she's a lesbian, and now she mentions it constantly, which I love.)
Burrell's not "nasty" to people on her shows, unless the poster above has met her in person. She's your typical hard-ass, hard-core chef, who had recognized talent long before there were celebrity chefs, and who combines tough-love with being super-supportive of other chefs.
However, if that poster has met her and she's a shitty person IRL, I apologize. I'm well aware that celebrity chefs, like all other celebs (real and manufactured), have a public image and a real personality that are often totally dissimilar.

That old cunt Barbara Walters essentially outed Ricky Martin. She admitted she felt guilty that it wrecked his career in the US.
What disingenuous bullshit, like in the year 2000 she wouldn't know not to ask the question, how long has this old bat been in showbiz for?
And although I had heard rumours as far back as the mid 90s that said he was a laughing stock and notoriously gay in Latin America, I don't remember the rumours being THAT loud when he broke into the mainstream with La Vida Loca, a few years later yes. Certainly they weren't known by most non-media obsessed people. Bitch just picked on him cause he was a soft target to get ratings.
This is embarrassing and the audience laughs at him but while as much as we'd have liked him to come out at the height of his career, it just wasn't gonna happen. His choice at the end of the day. It looks like she ambushed him.

Adam Sandler ( don't even get me going!!!) jumped into a live red carpet interview with Sandra Bullock. This was when Speed was huge ( might have been the premier?). He blurted out words to the effect of,"let me show you what it's like to kiss a REAL man"! He then planted an unwanted hard kiss on Sandra's mouth. It was very clear she was repulsed by him. I even think she said something like "what's wrong with you?). Apparently outing Keanu Reeves!?

If anyone thinks she has that kind of power, you're a fucking moron.

Hardly an outing.

Howard Stern didn't "out" anybody; he made cryptic threats to "reveal" something about Foxx, but ultimately didn't have the balls. Foxx addressed it on his radio show a couple of days later, basically saying that Stern was hardly the first person to say that he was gay. When asked about her off-screen relationship with Jonathan Rhys Meyers whilst filming Match Point, Scarlett Johanasson said he was gorgeous and funny but that he was like a best girlfriend since he was very gossipy and into women's shoes. JRM found out about the quote in an interview when the interviewer asked for his response and JRM's first response was something along the lines of "did she really say that?"
And I remember reading a Chris O'Dowd interview where he was asked about gay rights in Ireland and at the end, the interviewer asked him who was gay in Irish cinema and he replied, the fella who plays Henry the 8th, Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Since it was a print interview, I don't know O'Dowd was kidding or not.

[R99] Heather Graham comes from a strict conservative catholic background so it makes sense what Cumming was referring to. When Alessandro Nivola outed Bradley Cooper
Elephant Man's Alessandro Nivola Jokes, 'If I Were Gay,' Bradley Cooper Would 'Be the Guy'
Bradley Cooper and Alessandro just might have the ultimate bromance.
The Tony-nominated pals and costars of Broadway’s The Elephant Man hit up the French Open last weekend to take in some tennis – and some of Nivola’s friends gave him some grief about it.
“He’s got this apartment in Paris, which is just incredible, and we went down and had front-row seats to watch Roger Federer who’s his buddy. And there we were just watching tennis, and a couple days later, I’m told by some friends that Bradley is now my new lover,” Nivola, 42, told PEOPLE at the 69th Annual Tony Awards on Sunday.
While he’s been happily married to actress wife Emily Mortimer since 2003, Nivola quips, “If I were gay, he’d be the guy, I’m tellin’ ya.”
The actor had nothing but good things to say about Cooper, 40.
“He’s the greatest actor to be on stage with because it’s just different every night,” says Nivola, 42. “We’ve done the show 115 times, and every night, it’s different, and that’s because he’s just so super free, and we play off of each other that way, and we’re determined not to let it get boring and stale and dead, and it’s thanks to his commitment that way – his talent.”
