Host & Musical Guest: Sabrina Carpenter
No and No.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 19, 2025 2:45 AM |
Another double huh?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 19, 2025 3:14 AM |
I like her dress.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 19, 2025 3:45 AM |
Another Domingo Skit?.......yawn...
by Anonymous | reply 4 | October 19, 2025 3:46 AM |
Holy shit.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 19, 2025 3:47 AM |
R4 this is the first of the season
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 19, 2025 3:48 AM |
No political opening???
Is Carpenter intentionally trying to sing like an amateur or is she that bad? This is going to be a teen bubblegum edition of SNL.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 19, 2025 3:49 AM |
It’s intentional
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 19, 2025 3:50 AM |
No Kings Rallies all across America......And they open with a Domingo sketch?.....SNL is as scared of Trump as Jimmy Fallon is....Sad...
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 19, 2025 3:51 AM |
SNL was delayed 13 minutes in Las Vegas. It started with the Domingo skit and seemed like it started after the monologue. Is this the first episode that starts without a political opener after No Kings day?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 19, 2025 3:52 AM |
R9 SNL is a skit show. Not CNN.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 19, 2025 3:53 AM |
Don't like this dress I the monologue.
Hate her hair as always.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 19, 2025 3:53 AM |
Cute Asian audience member.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 19, 2025 3:53 AM |
R11, SNL started out 51 years ago with Chevy Chase playing Gerald Ford. It's always been political. How old are you?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 19, 2025 3:55 AM |
Who the hell is she? Good night, this sucks already.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 19, 2025 3:56 AM |
This show’s format is so cemented in place, that I think the silver-afro’d dude and the always despondent-looking adjacent woman in the band, probably remain attached to and live on those seats 7 days a week.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | October 19, 2025 3:56 AM |
Where are the podcast jokes? Snickers? Even the audience isn't laughing.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 19, 2025 3:59 AM |
God everyone looks so fucking young.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 19, 2025 4:00 AM |
R14 they make skits of politicians. Not protests of people walking and holding signs.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 19, 2025 4:00 AM |
They waited too long to bring Trump in.....yawn
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 19, 2025 4:02 AM |
Ugh, another worthless sketch
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 19, 2025 4:02 AM |
R19, oh, you mean like a political protest? Yeah, great rebuttal. Go to bed.
Carpenter looks and acts like Chalamet when she dresses as a boy.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 19, 2025 4:03 AM |
Was.this round table sketch supposed to be the cold open but got switched?
Is this officially a totally unwatchable episode.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 19, 2025 4:03 AM |
R22 WHAT JOKES WOULD U LIKE MADE ABOUT A PROTEST HAPPENING?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 19, 2025 4:04 AM |
Anyone else think Sabrina Carpenter looks like Tiffany from the Chucky movies?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 19, 2025 4:05 AM |
LOL, R24, you seem a tad upset. There's nothing funny about Trump, yet they make it funny, don't they.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 19, 2025 4:06 AM |
R26 there’s a lot funny about Trump. There’s nothing funny about a peaceful protest.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 19, 2025 4:08 AM |
Vagina humor. 'kay.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 19, 2025 4:08 AM |
R27, maybe that's why you don't write comedy. There have been plenty of sketches where they have their newscasters go interview the man on the street bits. There's humor in everything.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 19, 2025 4:10 AM |
The pillow skit is better.
PLANS skit was a bit clunky and lost the moment.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 19, 2025 4:10 AM |
No Halloween episode this year? Maybe they'll do a few sketches tonight. Is Tom Hanks in town?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 19, 2025 4:14 AM |
Sabrina is tiny - I knew she was short but God damn. She's what 5 feet?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 19, 2025 4:17 AM |
No Bowen Yang as Santos? I’m on the west coast.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 19, 2025 4:18 AM |
Bowen looks different now that he has worked out.
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 19, 2025 4:23 AM |
No, R33. I don't think he's appeared live yet tonight. He's on now in a taped sketch.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 19, 2025 4:23 AM |
Looks like they're sidelining the one cute new guy. He gets to play a backup dancer in a stupid sketch?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 19, 2025 4:26 AM |
Bowen isn’t in this episode except the pre-tape. He’s in LA to accept an award today.
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 19, 2025 4:27 AM |
R36 because he isn’t funny
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 19, 2025 4:27 AM |
R32 yes. She’s only 5 foot
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 19, 2025 4:27 AM |
Is this kinda of teen country? Sounds country-ish.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 19, 2025 4:29 AM |
God - I'm embarrassed - this song was #1 a few months ago. I've never heard it - huge hit in a lot of countries.
I'm old.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 19, 2025 4:31 AM |
I think Sabrina’s a good sport and seems to be comfortable and versatile in the different sketches she’s in.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 19, 2025 4:31 AM |
R40 yes this song is country lite. Sabrina grew up on a farm. She’s country at heart
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 19, 2025 4:31 AM |
Pre-nose job and before she sold her soul (and panties) to Satan. She looked cute, she should have left her face alone. She's too young to be looking 40.
She was a kid actor so she's doing fine in the sketches.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 19, 2025 4:33 AM |
R44 - ahhh - yeah she is keeping her own. Not that she has great material to work with.
But it looks like she has had a ton of plastic surgery.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 19, 2025 4:40 AM |
Movie guy isn't funny - just smiling and mugging.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 19, 2025 4:42 AM |
This show needs writers!
My skit pitch - "Yas, Kings Rally" Kings Midas, Kong, Three, Joffrey, Henry VIII, etc. hanging out and extolling their reigns, each boosting the others. There's a knock at the door and, through the peephole, we see donald. holding a golden arches bag. The kings back away from the door on tip toe, signaling all to keep quiet, shutting off the lights while donald pounds on the door, "Guys? It's me! Open up! Guys? Guys?"
I composed that rough draft while posting it.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 19, 2025 4:42 AM |
R47 wow that sounds terrible
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 19, 2025 4:44 AM |
Thanks, r48!
Your turn.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 19, 2025 4:48 AM |
Well, the cute guy got an Update segment, and I have to agree that he's not funny.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | October 19, 2025 4:49 AM |
R47, R49, don't mind R48, they have some sort of issue with political humor which involves more than one person per skit. I think it may have to do with impairment of their gray matter.
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 19, 2025 4:50 AM |
He isn’t funny. Idk how he got the job
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 19, 2025 4:51 AM |
All of that plastic surgery, dark thick spackled on makeup, bright contacts and big blonde wigs and Sabrina still looks like a troll. If it weren't for Disney, Taylor Swift and Aunt Bart Simpson this narcissistic industry plant nepo baby bitch would be nothing. Put a big blonde wig, tits and a pussy on porn star Daniel Hausser and you get Sabrina. Strong resemblance.
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 19, 2025 5:01 AM |
Her eyes are blue
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 19, 2025 5:03 AM |
R54 - hard to know - considering she was a pale redhead originally in the pics upthread. Now she's a tan blonde with black eyebrows and dark roots.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 19, 2025 5:09 AM |
I thought that was George Santos in the yellow sweater.
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 19, 2025 5:12 AM |
R55 she’s always had blue eyes.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 19, 2025 5:15 AM |
Well, the funniest part of the show was a 3 minute fart joke?
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 19, 2025 5:16 AM |
R54 R57 She wears contacts to enhance her eye color. Trying to make them look bright like Meg Foster's but ending up with the eyes of a White Walker instead.
by Anonymous | reply 59 | October 19, 2025 6:46 AM |
New boy Tommy is adorable.
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 19, 2025 2:43 PM |
The whole show was off-key
by Anonymous | reply 61 | October 19, 2025 3:01 PM |
[quote]No Kings Rallies all across America......And they open with a Domingo sketch?
I hate the Domingo sketches, but to be fair the No Kings rallies just happened hours before the show aired. They can't write, make costumes, and build sets (and rehearse) for entire new skits in a matter of hours.
by Anonymous | reply 62 | October 19, 2025 3:47 PM |
The first three episodes have been brutal. This season is on track to join 94–95, or even 80–81.
by Anonymous | reply 63 | October 19, 2025 4:04 PM |
I wonder if the delay caused everything to feel off.
And Sabrina dropped two F bombs on live tv. She probably won’t be asked back anytime soon.
by Anonymous | reply 64 | October 19, 2025 4:37 PM |
I thought a few sketches really worked (the opening was awful) but most of it didn't. I did laugh more than I should have at the massage pillow sketch.
by Anonymous | reply 65 | October 19, 2025 4:51 PM |
The weird thing about with the Domingo sketches is Marcello Hernandez is indeed fuckable in them, but they're just never funny.
by Anonymous | reply 66 | October 19, 2025 5:08 PM |
"And Sabrina Carpenter has horrific halitosis!"
by Anonymous | reply 67 | October 19, 2025 5:19 PM |
Put this show out of its misery.
by Anonymous | reply 68 | October 19, 2025 5:23 PM |
R53, image has always been everything for pop music. As for Sabrina, she had some great pop songs. If eldergays don't know her, check her portfolio on YT and you'll be surprised.
by Anonymous | reply 69 | October 19, 2025 5:28 PM |
Domingo is NOT an appropriate opening especially with all that going on...No Kings protests nationwide, government shutdown, etc.
Do fucking better SNL.
by Anonymous | reply 70 | October 19, 2025 6:11 PM |
ENOUGH WITH NO KINGS. The show is LIVE and they plan everything earlier in the week. They aren’t making a fucking sketch about a protest the day of.
Jesus.
Mind you who wants to see a SKETCH about that? You seem to think this is a news outlet
by Anonymous | reply 71 | October 19, 2025 6:27 PM |
R71. Even without doing an opening skit about No Kings, SNL still should have prepared something political (from which there are plenty to choose) for the opening. The opening skit is supposed to be about something topical and current. Domingo is neither. The reason people tune in is to see and hear a spoof about speaking truth to power. Domingo is perfectly fine as a skit for any number of comedy bits throughout the show--but not the opening. And just so you know, the opening skit is not always prepared early in the week.
So STFU.
by Anonymous | reply 72 | October 19, 2025 6:53 PM |
R71, still doesn't get it. This show has been doing political humor since its inception. No Kings march was scheduled weeks in advance. It was the perfect topic to cover for the cold opening. Also, they are changing lines of dialogue up until they go live. You sound young or you don't know too much about this show.
by Anonymous | reply 73 | October 19, 2025 6:54 PM |
R73 no, YOU don’t get it. This isn’t a news outlet. This NEED you have for politics in a sketch show is weird.
by Anonymous | reply 74 | October 19, 2025 7:00 PM |
R74, one last time. THIS SHOW WAS FOUNDED ON POLITICAL HUMOR. CHEVY CHASE SAT AT A NEWS DESK AND SKEWERED THE POLITICIANS AND POLTICAL TOPICS OF THE DAY. HE ALSO IMPERSONATED GERALD FORD WHO WAS THE PRESIDENT AT THE TIME - 50 FUCKING YEARS AGO. You haven't a clue what you're talking about so please kindly stop responding.
by Anonymous | reply 75 | October 19, 2025 7:49 PM |
A lot of these sketches started good but the 'funny' part never got there.
by Anonymous | reply 76 | October 19, 2025 7:54 PM |
Ashley Padilla can do sketch comedy well it appears. She has lots of potential.
by Anonymous | reply 77 | October 19, 2025 7:57 PM |
Ashley Padilla is most impressive of all the newer cast members. She's going to be the standout.
by Anonymous | reply 78 | October 19, 2025 8:04 PM |
Her happy, smiling, carefree presence was just what I needed on a dreary weekend. She's a wee thing, but I hope she has a film career ahead of her- she's very photogenic.
by Anonymous | reply 79 | October 19, 2025 8:13 PM |
Ashley Padilla is nothing special at all. She's a vanilla bore.
She hasn't demonstrated anything that can hold a candle to Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig, Cecily Strong, Molly Shannon, Jan Hooks, et. al.
The show is so terrible and hopeless, perhaps she stands out to some of you just by not being completely incompetent or repellent.
by Anonymous | reply 80 | October 19, 2025 9:02 PM |
New guy Tommy is cute but he's not that funny.
by Anonymous | reply 81 | October 19, 2025 9:08 PM |
R80, I think this is only her 2nd(?) season and she’s still a featured player who’s gradually gaining screen time. Give her a chance. Those other women had much stronger writers, too.
by Anonymous | reply 82 | October 19, 2025 9:40 PM |
R75 no it wasn’t. It INCLUDED political humor. It wasn’t founded on it. At least know what you’re talking about.
There is no humor in people marching.
by Anonymous | reply 83 | October 19, 2025 9:50 PM |
Only to the unimaginative.
by Anonymous | reply 84 | October 19, 2025 10:07 PM |
Or the terrified.
by Anonymous | reply 85 | October 19, 2025 10:08 PM |
You’re a loser who lives off his family r84 r85. You’re out of your depth on here and are too stupid to even understand that.
by Anonymous | reply 86 | October 19, 2025 10:17 PM |
SNL...Nancy Reagan and Barbara Bush squaring off. Comedy gold...
by Anonymous | reply 89 | October 20, 2025 12:11 AM |
Yes. Making jokes about politicians and the people around them. Not marches.
Thanks for confirming.
by Anonymous | reply 90 | October 20, 2025 12:19 AM |
R89, that sketch is one of my favourites, brilliant writing and acting by Jan and Phil. Compare the quality to today.
by Anonymous | reply 91 | October 20, 2025 12:24 AM |
New guy Tommy looks like the typical PLAYGIRL centerfold from the 80s - all-American, midwestern guy with the smooth body and shaved pubes.
by Anonymous | reply 92 | October 20, 2025 12:53 AM |
R71, R74, R83, R86 and a shitload of other posts in this thread are from the same little bitch who started a fight with someone in last week's SNL thread. As the old saying goes: Your issues have issues. And it can't be said enough, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.
by Anonymous | reply 93 | October 20, 2025 3:53 AM |
And another thread goes to hell.
Thanks.
by Anonymous | reply 94 | October 20, 2025 7:48 PM |
Anyone else think the Dump admin is putting pressure on NBC to stop political commentary?
I do.
by Anonymous | reply 95 | October 20, 2025 7:53 PM |
I don’t think so. I think nbc is self-censoring to avoid getting in the crosshairs.
by Anonymous | reply 96 | October 20, 2025 11:23 PM |
R95 If Trump wanted to cancel any show on TV, it should be this one. Put it out of its misery and put us out of ours.
by Anonymous | reply 97 | October 20, 2025 11:48 PM |
SNL simply does not have the talented members of yore. You know who they were.
by Anonymous | reply 98 | October 21, 2025 12:04 AM |
R98, every generation says that.
by Anonymous | reply 99 | October 21, 2025 12:12 AM |
I wish SNL would research their demographics. I think they are under the delusion that Gen Z and younger are gathered around the tube to watch NBC on Sat. night. I bet it's more like 50 and over. Therefore, fewer juvenile skits please.
by Anonymous | reply 100 | October 21, 2025 1:51 AM |
Actually they go viral on social media all the time now. Thats why they cater to the young.
by Anonymous | reply 101 | October 21, 2025 1:58 AM |
