Walter Presents

I am a huge Walter Presents fan.

I've watched quality programs from Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland, Austria, Italy, and Spain.

USA network TV is garbage so thank goodness for PBS Passport and Walter Presents.

I know "Walter Presents" from where it started on Channel 4 UK many years ago. The "Walter" of Walter Presents is Walter Iuzzolino. I remember he would sometimes give these little intros to his selections like Alistair Cooke of Masterpiece Theatre. I recall some of my favorites being in the "Nordic Noir" category as well as content from France. I first ran across Walter Presents with "Seaside Hotel" ("Badehotellet" in Danish) on PBS.

Since then I've watched about 20 or so of his shows.

Subtitles don't faze me and the production values and plot lines are better than the dreck served up on American TV these days.

I love Walter Presents. I have seen so many good series that I would have never come across otherwise.
