I've loved many of these shows, but don't totally understand what this brand is. Do you watch? What are your favorites?

I am a huge Walter Presents fan.
I've watched quality programs from Norway, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland, Austria, Italy, and Spain.
USA network TV is garbage so thank goodness for PBS Passport and Walter Presents.

I know "Walter Presents" from where it started on Channel 4 UK many years ago. The "Walter" of Walter Presents is Walter Iuzzolino. I remember he would sometimes give these little intros to his selections like Alistair Cooke of Masterpiece Theatre. I recall some of my favorites being in the "Nordic Noir" category as well as content from France. Here's an August 2025 interview with Walter you might like. btw - This article doesn't mention that he's gay, but the TImes (UK) did an article with him and his boyfriend back in 2007.

I first ran across Walter Presents with "Seaside Hotel" ("Badehotellet" in Danish) on PBS.
Since then I've watched about 20 or so of his shows.
Subtitles don't faze me and the production values and plot lines are better than the dreck served up on American TV these days.

I love Walter Presents. I have seen so many good series that I would have never come across otherwise.

For some of you who may be curious about this, here's Walter himself telling us what is the impetus for his Walter Presents.
Not all his selections match everyone's tastes, but he does seem to find a lot of great foreign programming.
