Cybill Shepherd and Christine Baranski have mended fences
According to Cybill, she also resolved her issues with Bruce Willis before his dementia diagnosis.
Who else should bury the hatchet before it's too late?
Shirley MacLaine and Debra Winger? Megan Mullally and Deb Messing? SJP and Kim Cattrall?
Come on girls, life's too short!

SJP and Kim Cattrall should, for sure
I doubt there's any 'mending fences' with Debra Messing as she appears to now be a lunatic.

I spell it Sybil Shepherd for a reason.

Good fences make good neighbors.
But not in this case.

Cybill should have waited a good 15 to 20 years after the Cybill cancellation to write her book. At that time her show had just gotten cancelled, and she was dumped by a longtime boyfriend, so she wasn't in a good place to write a tell all. Time and distance from it all would have helped her gain some perspective.
[quote]SJP and Kim Cattrall should, for sure
Too soon. SJP is still hung up on Carrie and the recent shows cancellation. Kim would probably think SJP was trying to get in her good graces for another go around of the show. Things like that take time.
Suzanne and Joyce waited over thirty years to speak again.

How the heck did she “mend fences” with Bruce Willis barely has any cognitive skills yet, and can’t even communicate anymore? I call bullshit.

I'm not interested. We never were friends.

R8 In the article it says they resolved their issues before his diagnosis
I saw Bruce's Comedy Central Roast recently. Cybill was on it and they seemed to get on fine and seemed pretty sincere. Just checked and that was 2018 so will give her the benefit of the doubt there.

I doubt Baranski has given her more than a moment's thought in years.
Poor Cybill has to mention other people to get noticed and/or written about in the press these days.

I've always been happy that Bill Murray and Harold Ramis mended fences before Ramis died. Besides this linked story, I saw a Ghostbusters feature that had Harold's daughter in it, and she said confirmed that story that Bill arrived at the house unexpected and they spent time together.
I really need to read her book as I loved Harold Ramis.

Amazing how much more famous Christine is now.
Cybill plays grandmas on the Hallmark channel if even that.

Cybill starred in 2 of the best movies ever made.
Baranski hasn't topped that.

R16 indeed and if you add The Heartbreak Kid and Moonlighting, Cybill was in 3 or 4 classics.
I'd argue that Meryl Streep/Jessica Lange etc have the Oscars but I'd argue Cybill has better film/TV touchstones. People still watch Taxi Driver but who under 45 watches Meryl's 80s accents. Apart from Deer Hunter in which she was a small part of, did Meryl ever have a real classic? She was no Diane Keaton, who could really act

I'm glad Cybill has been doing this. It's good to end feuds when they're rooted in insecurity more than anything else.

Joan Rivers and Johnny Carson should end their feud.

R25 Loved Joan but If her version was true then Carson was a dick. Of course she wanted her own show. He would still have rated higher, so let her have it?

R23, I'm actually surprised Meryl didn't star in more classic films. It's kind of odd considering her status as the best actress of her generation.

"Christine? It's Cybill. I just wanted you to know I forgive you and want to be friends."
"Um-hm. Dear, this isn't a good time — I've got dinner on the stove and my agent on the other line. So good of you to call. Be well."

Since HBO’s Angels In America was a miniseries and not a cinema release it technically doesn’t count, but I’d definitely say it is considered a classic (especially nowadays when the lines between tv/film are so blurred)… certainly one of the finest television films of all time. Also, Meryl has a small but pivotal part in Woody Allen’s Manhattan, as well, which is indisputably a classic film. And, like it or not, Mamma Mia! is as popular as ever, more than a decade after its release, so there’s that, as well (certainly not a great film, but a classic in its own way, sort of like Grease).
