Bump
by Anonymous | reply 1 | October 15, 2025 1:44 PM |
No, I find the subject matter too disturbing.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | October 15, 2025 2:12 PM |
How many times can these stories be told?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | October 15, 2025 2:27 PM |
Let us know if it has any redeeming value but there have been too many of these gruesome portraits of psychopaths. I’ve had sufficient.

Someone needs to do a John Waters Gacy musical as a tribute to Baltimore.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | October 15, 2025 3:07 PM |
Looking at the cast list and there are a LOT of hot young actors in this show, presumably playing all of Gacy’s various victims.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | October 16, 2025 6:25 PM |
What r4 said
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 16, 2025 6:28 PM |
Did someone say hot young victims?
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 16, 2025 6:44 PM |
Why Baltimore, r5?
by Anonymous | reply 9 | October 16, 2025 6:55 PM |
There needs to be a musical version with James Corden playing the lead.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 16, 2025 6:56 PM |
Watching the first episode. It's good
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 16, 2025 11:28 PM |
Brian Dennehy was chilling in s previous version.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 17, 2025 12:24 AM |
There was a movie a two part out Gacy a while ago, on TV You can watch it free on Yu tube. It's a made for TV movie but I enjoyed it and it was pretty faithful to the reality.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 17, 2025 12:56 AM |
That's the one I was referring to r13. Thanks.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 17, 2025 1:13 AM |
The second episode is making me tear up with the gay boy and his baby dyke friend
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 17, 2025 1:24 AM |
The series is much better than I thought it would be. Michael Chernus is excellent.

As many times as it takes to make my microdick cum, damn it!
by Anonymous | reply 17 | October 17, 2025 12:57 PM |
Shuddering, R13, at that absolute wolf look Dennehy gives that boy in the grocery store. My God that was chilling. He was such a great actor.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 17, 2025 2:10 PM |
R18 he really did look like a predator, didn't he.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | October 17, 2025 8:28 PM |
I’m having a hard time engaging with this. Maybe I’m watching to soon after the Gein thing on Netflix.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | October 18, 2025 2:54 AM |
Episode 6 is pretty devastating (when you see Rob Piest’s last moments). Great build-up to this with the three-victim format.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 18, 2025 2:58 AM |
There was a documentary I saw and the cops totally blew it...They should have caught him after the first guy dissappeared
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 18, 2025 6:13 AM |
This was a much better series than any of the shit Ryan Murphy churns out. It never sensationalizes Gacy or his crimes. And it should be commended for centering itself on the lives of the victims and their families. It's not gruesome but it is disturbing. But it's mostly sad. I wonder if any of the surviving victims every really recovered any sense of normalcy after what happened to them. And I can't believe the way the execution was handled. The fact that the families of the victims were all brought there only to completely miss Gacy being injected. And the way the cops just dismissed their anger with "oh well". I would have wanted to punch them.

My God, this is absolutely devastating.
I was expecting some Ryan Murphy style camp. But this is one of the best things I’ve seen on TV all year.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 18, 2025 7:24 PM |
R24, same. It was excellent and I was impressed that it didn't revel in blood and gore.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 18, 2025 9:38 PM |
This is doing a much better job than usual making the audience care about the victims. But I still prefer Murphy's glamour, even if it does often cross over into camp.

I read the book written by Gacy's defense attorney. He said Gacy readily admitted to being a killer but denied over and over again that he was gay. He's kind of a boring serial killer because he was such a massive bullshitter and didn't engage in introspection. This New Yorker article was pretty interesting.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 19, 2025 1:39 AM |
R27, the series depicts that. He really thought he was the most devious, smartest person who ever lived.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 19, 2025 1:51 AM |
There's no way I can watch Ed Gein. It is too gruesome. And Gacy? My god! He had dead bodies hidden in his house. More than a dozen dead bodies! That is some sick, twisted shit.

Sounds like one of Mary’s parties!
by Anonymous | reply 30 | October 19, 2025 5:13 AM |
R29, I cannot imagine how bad that house smelled.

I’m surprised how little (almost nothing) this series did with the “Pogo the Clown” image of Gacy. There was only a brief from-behind shot of him dressed as the clown. Ryan Murphy would have gone hog wild with the clown stuff as we all know. But I thought this series
I really enjoyed it though and was really quite devastated by some of the victims’ stories. Rob Piest, in particular, was heartbreaking. You could see what a good kid he was. As was the boy who had the baby dyke friend he took to the prom. I’m curious how the young kid with the activist mother got picked up by Gacy with his friend. I thought there were some missing scenes like that.. Hopefully Gacy continues to burn in hell.
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 19, 2025 6:33 PM |
R32, I could feel the activist mother's rage as she was stuck in traffic while the "peace" lovers walked by with scenes protesting against the death penalty. I am against the death penalty but the mom's rage is totally understandable.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 19, 2025 6:53 PM |
Wait, Ricken from Severance plays a psycho murderer?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 19, 2025 6:56 PM |
As a survivor of SA all I can think about is how much these boys and young men suffered in agony when Gacy assaulted them and killed them. Their last thoughts, knowing that they were dying at the hands of this dirtbag.
I feel bad for them all.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 19, 2025 7:08 PM |
R35, I am glad you are still here to tell your story! But I am sorry you had to endure that.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 19, 2025 7:46 PM |
Thanks r36. It happened to me in the Navy.

that answers your implied question. they were trying to be more tasteful than Murphy.

Old people, r38. They love their Dateline and SVU.

Pea-hens, and a few peacocks with cookie-smelling beaks
