Fellow porn-watching eldergays -- let's discuss the state of porn now vs then

For those of us who can remember back to the '70s and '80s (for a start), let's talk about what it was like then: at first, pretty much magazines only, and maybe some 8mm "loops" that you could show on a home projector. Then gradually there were adult movie theaters that starting showing hardcore. So given the limited options, I know I personally was desperate for ANYTHING short of lesbian porn. Straight scenes, solos, less attractive men, whatever - as long as you could see a dick, that was all that mattered. And remember that you had to PAY for pretty much everything then. (And if you were young, money was probably tight.)

Moving on to the '80s when home video became dominant, I was still watching straight scenes, etc., because at first there wasn't that much content. And again - money (although you could rent videos at reasonable rate depending on where you lived.)

Now let's fast-forward through the '90s and '00s to the last 15 or 20 years, when of course the internet has become the main source of adult entertainment. I know for me personally, because of the fact that there is SO much readily available content out there that's either free or very inexpensive, I've become WAY pickier about what I'll watch. My big "hard pass" content now includes most straight scenes, solos, unattractive men, blurred or hidden faces, most kink, twink-only scenes, etc. I'm interested to know how my fellow eldergays' porn preferences have evolved.
