She was horrible in Nell. In Silence of the Lambs, she always had the same facial expressions. The movie was all Anthony Hopkins. In The Accused which I watched recently for the first time, it's Kelly McGillis who was the better actress and who should have been nominated. Jodie was OK in that movie but I don't understand why she won two Oscars. Plus, she looks like a man with long hair.

She is a lesbian. Hence the same facial expression.

You’re a fucking troll.
How is your mother’s basement these days? Still dirty and reeking of your cumrags? Is this the “Brooklyn Sea Cow”? Is that you, ?

Fuck off! Watch "Freaky Friday" and "Candleshoe". She was a brilliant comedic actress and I still love those movies.

You do know she is fluent in French, don't you OP?

As an actor, Jodie doesn't have a wide lane. As long as she stays in it, she's fine.

We beg to differ, fuckwad.

I disagree with OP's premise, but R1's response represents why I continue to return to this godforsaken website.

I liked her in Silence of the Lambs. She had on-screen chemistry with Hopkins. She also had great chemistry with Mel Gibson in Maverick.
Some of her choices have been questionable, but she’s been acting since childhood, it’s bound to happen.

I did think she was a boy in “Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore”.
