Which job field do you think has the highest percentage of bosses verbally abusing assistants?
The allegations about Katie Porter have had some Dataloungers claim ALL politicians abuse their assistants verbally, and that Porter 9and Amy Klobuchar) are victims of an unfair double standard. I don't think that's exactly true: I've had some friends who have worked for politicians in DC who have said there was no abuse in the politicians offices they ever saw.
But i am curious: in which field do you think there's the highest percentage of abusive bosses? Obviously I can;t name all job fields, but I listed some that are infamous for high stress.

That Katie porter boss was truly shocking. I’m a woman and I’ve been a people manager my entire career. I’m 60. I can’t think of one time I’ve yelled at a staff member let alone used abusive language. You protect your staff from abuse—you don’t subject them to it. I always liked Porter. Not anymore. And I’d feel exactly the same if it were a man in that video. So no double standard. An asshole is an asshole. If you have power you use it to protect those who don’t. Not shit on them.
