Effective, frightening horror film trailers

Seventeen years have gone by, and I still think the trailer for "The Strangers" is extremely effective and among the best of the genre. The imagery and that skipping record (which has been shamelessly replicated in numerous other films/trailers since) is bone-chilling. What are some others?

The original “Sleepy Hollow” trailer from 1999.

Except for the distracting crowd reaction shots, Paranormal Activity. It would have been more effective to just show a few shots of the actual paranormal activity, which were pretty creepy.
