The 1976 soundtrack to King Kong, composed by John Barry. It was a movie produced by Paramount Pictures, but the soundtrack was released on Reprise Records, which was owned by the Warner Brothers conglomerate. Film producer Dino De Laurentiis was very involved in getting the widest distribution of the soundtrack, thus he ended up going with this label and Warner Entertainment. And the poster that was included was unusual, at least for soundtrack recordings.

Madonna surprisingly only had 2 USA vinyl records with posters.
True Blue album and Borderline 7 inch single.
Lots of import vinyl records with posters though.
I wonder why there weren't more USA ones. Does anyone know?

I don't remember a lot that had posters but Purple Rain was definitely one. I think one of the Culture Club ones did but can't really remember.
I bought some Stereolab ones a few years ago and all of them had beautiful posters - but 24 x 24, which is impossible to find a frame!

The first few runs of Alice Cooper's SCHOOL'S OUT! came with paper underpants. My stupid sister Chris wore them to school for a day and then eventually gave them to the boyfriend. I think his name was Chris too.
Some other girl named Adriana did the same thing and had her period. So the legend goes. But there were questions. Maybe it was my sister. Well, Chris showed her pristine paper panties to everyone before she gave them to Chris.
Many years later she admitted to wearing REAL panties with menstrual pads "just in case"
And the hippie artist Chris boyfriend became a real estate agent. His cool dog Lucy, a bery affectionate Irish Setter, ate the panties.
My sister Chris always complained about how boyfriend Chris's dog Lucy was always sniffing her crotch.

R46/R47 - I didn't know that but yes I am Australian so that's probably why I thought all Touch records had the poster. I had that poster up on my wall for years. You can still buy the Touch record on eBay. Here it is for $20.00 with the poster.
