Trump's Congestive Heart Failure and Resultant Edema
Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), my ass.
He and they've NEVER spoken a true word about this maniac stooge's health.
He's a sick cunt, physically and in every other way. Demented, unable to sleep, never shuts up.
They have him on Lisdexamfetamine (speed) and Ritalin and are using his MAGA popularity to run their coup.
Photo is from today, a couple days after another multi-day disappearance.

He should just give up on the hard sole pointy-toe lace-up dress shoes and lay in a closetful of Propét walkers, slippers, and easy-to-wear dress shoes like we've done with my old Dad over the last 10-12 years.

Even the administration admits it's CVI, qnd the outlook for that is not good:
[quote] [bold]CVI is not a benign disorder and, with its progression, can lead to morbidity and mortality.[/bold] Venous ulcers are common and very difficult to treat. [bold]Chronic venous ulcers are painful and debilitating. Even with treatment, recurrences are common if venous hypertension persists. [/bold] Nearly 60% develop phlebitis, which often progresses to deep vein thrombosis in more than 50% of patients. The venous insufficiency can also lead to severe hemorrhage. Surgery for CVI remains unsatisfactory despite the availability of numerous procedures.

He doesn't need to die to be incapacitated. A few severe strokes and a wheelchair and the GOP will no longer be able to spin his health.

They wake him up at 9am. McDonald's breakfast. Hair and makeup. Go over that day's stunts, announcements and personal appearances. Back in the White House in time to watch the evening news shows (McDonald's again) talking about him.

I relish all the possible maladies in R13 and R17. Any or all of them are fine with me. All I ask is they be extremely painful and televised live, especially on Fox News.

Who will the MAGAts blame when he declines and dies? Their perpetual state of anger and subclinical paranoia will lead them to reflexively point fingers at people and claim bad intent. You know with the primitive state of their thought processes and critical thinking skills, they're going to think he died because his healthcare was inadequate, not because he's an old man who's been eating and drugging himself into such an unhealthy state for decades. Somebody wasn't looking out for him well enough, he didn't get the right doctors, Vance and Rubio are up to something, etc., etc. MAGA in mourning and disbelief and the intense infighting to fill the vacuum should be interesting, if not fun.

R35, maybe... maybe not. I work in healthcare, supporting multiple physicians. They see it all.
Trump's venous insufficiency condition is one thing. His heart itself is another. His cognitive decline, a very different shape than Biden's but all too real nonetheless, is another. He could die instantly of a pulmonary embolism or similar fatal blood clot, that is true. Or he could be plagued by venous ulcers and episodes of sepsis, cellulitis or related type of infection. Strokes and cardiac events of varying severity can also happen with this condition, and they can have all kinds of outcomes.
Then there's the brain thing. He is definitely worsening over time, it's a wholly different presentation than Biden's cognitive decline but it is all too real. The coming year or two will be increasingly challenging for his administration as it becomes increasingly clear he is unfit to lead. The obvious rejoinder is "He's already unfit to lead, and they're all staying loyal to him 100%, face it, nothing will change" but the situation will indeed worsen. And then worsen further. A lot of us in here are ages 50 to 65, and if we don't have direct experience caregiving for a parent with progressive dementia, we have friends and loved ones who do. If you've been close to a progressive dementia patient, you know how it goes.
Trump's collapse is coming. Nothing can stop it. And it's hard to maintain patience and just sit here and wait for it. Hopefully some of us will find ways to get involved in the 2026 election cycle this coming year. A Democratic majority House 2027-2028 would do a lot to put some brakes on this nightmare.

I dunno, it looks to me like he's lost a bit of weight and a few inches of height (like many elders do) and is now only 6 ft and 230 lbs or so. Just going by photos.
But that edema around the ankle is a bad sign.

You don't "lose a FEW inches in height" when you get old.
An inch or so, perhaps.
"Few" indicates 3 or more.
Trump is not anywhere close to 230 lbs.
