She reminds me of a Republican lesbian I knew years ago. I was a social worker in the home healthcare field for ten years and during that time, the agency I worked for often dealt with the local vocational rehab agency, and that was where I got to know the Republican lesbian because she was the person I usually referred clients to. She was a butch type who never wore dresses or skirts and had a short haircut. Her then wife who is a femme type was a trainer at a local gym, and I had gay and lesbian friends who were her clients. I would run into them at both professional events or get-togethers at people's houses or local bars. They were also Facebook friends of mine. When Trump entered politics, the butch lesbian jumped on the train right away and started spewing anti-immigrant stuff on Facebook. When I saw in her person she never talked politics and was polite with everyone. I left the home healthcare field in late 2016 and I started to see the MAGA lesbian less, but I would occasionally run into her at get togethers at friends' houses or bars. In 2019, she fell deep into the Q Anon crap and her wife divorced her. A year later when covid hit, she went full on nutso again on social media. In late 2020, she stopped posting on Facebook and in October 2021, she died of covid. She wasn't vaxxed and her parents who were pro-vaccine were honest with people about her death.

I have two former friends, lesbians, one a former co-worker, the other a college friend, who have gone full-TERF/MAGA since 2020. One of them rails online constantly about DEI and "woke," the other is more stealth, w pressing her batshittery through likes and follows. They make me fucking sick.

She will not be "transing," R13. Stop slurring trans people like that. This is a well-defined type, lesbians who ally with right-wingers or just fully embrace it. Of course we know gay men often fit this same pattern, but it's shocking when someone who is both gay and a woman allies with homophobic misogynists.
