Gran Canaria has a big helping of blue collar and pink collar European gays. Rich guys come but it's not a chic resort. Any average employed gay schlub in Europe can scrape together the funds to enjoy a holiday there. The island's gay areas are in the desert zones and most of the island is a desert. Some microclimates. If you don't enjoy desert landscapes and the sex is not your flavour, there isn't much to do and it's not near anything.

Benidorm and Torremolinos are the affordable Spanish resort towns.

Sitges can be pricey and Ibiza is very pricey unless you are very young and stuffed into humdrum lodgings, just to get yourself to the clubs and beaches at the most gorgeous and appropriate age.

Berlin offers everything for a sex and clubbing holiday and adds in culture if you want it. It's mid priced and young scruffy party people find a way to party there.

If you have local friends, or gentleman sponsors, the equations change. The world is your oyster from Tel Aviv and Istanbul to Copenhagen and Hamburg.

We're doing an ironic" gaycay" in Gulf Shores, Alabama this summer. Gays and dykes, pairing off outrageously as hetero couples, and mimicking all the MAGA bullshit but in better clothes - just to see if we can get away it! And we will slyly ruin some other vacationers' good times if we can.
