Get ready for a 4th light at intersections

The main problem with traffic nowadays, non highway traffic, is people on their motherfucking phone. Put down the fucking phone and accelerate. It’s ridiculous. They need to charge $500 fines for people who don’t realize the light has change, it’s their turn to go at 4 way stop. It’s fucking sickening. Put down the stanking ass phone and GOOOOO.

I have often felt that in traffic jams, it is the people who are stopped, then accelerate to the maximum they can to catch up to the bumper in front of them which aggravate the problem. If, for some reason (an accident ahead or whatever) the traffic would need to slow to 10 mph for 2 miles, and there was some way to make every vehicle adhere exactly to that speed limit, neither slower nor faster, the traffic jams would ease up much faster. But that would mean ceding control of their vehicles to some AI device for a period of time....never gonna happen.
