Nobel Peace Prize laureate scheduled to be announced October 10th
by Anonymous | reply 60 | October 8, 2025 12:12 PM |
Can someone explain to me how in the world Trump believes he has a ghost of a chance to ever receive this? He's caused more trouble and problems than just about any other world leader. Under his watch the conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine have flared up exponentially.
I don't believe that Obama should have received this either, fwiw, at least not as early in his term as he did. That seemed performative. But it doesn't mean that phony DT should ever receive it.

I look forward to his tantrums when his name is not announced.

I would like to see a list of the wars that Donald claims to have ended.

Let's not forget the most famous war Donald J. Trump single handedly ended: The great Cola Wars: Coke vs. Pepsi.

Hw will hamstring Netanyahu to take a Peace deal.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | October 6, 2025 7:36 PM |
Trump is never getting the Nobel Peace Price. It's not going to happen even if he brokers peace between Mars and Earth in the upcoming alien invasion.

Didn't the nominations for this year have to have been received by January 31st, 2025?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 6, 2025 7:46 PM |
When he doesn't get nominated, what will his retaliatory tantrum be? Dropping a nuke on Sweden and Norway? Invading Greenland?
My hope is that it'll induce a stroke, but I feel we will never be so lucky.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | October 6, 2025 8:03 PM |
All jokes aside, Blood Orange has all but declared war on his own country! How does that make him deservant of the Peace Prize?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 6, 2025 8:07 PM |
Ve nominate Donalt for Piss Prize!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | October 6, 2025 8:11 PM |
Thanks R5. While Trump can be given some credit for at least bringing discussions to the table, it looks like he's jumping the gun on the praise as most of these "wars" (if one can even call them that) don't appear to be fully resolved yet.

The speculation is that it'll go to Pope Leo XIV, which would explain the MAGA bots being deployed to mercilessly drag him on every social media post he's made over the past week.

I will increase tariffs for Norway and Sweden by 1000% And if that doesn't work I am looking into buying Norway and Sweden.

We already know that he's going to bomb out in the swimsuit competition.

What did he do to win a peace prize?

The announcement will put both N-words into play; one triggering the other.
"Stephen! Fetch me the football!"
The End.
(There won't be any stuff left ... or anyone to want it)

Trump and Elon are both nominees?
lol there should be a Nobel Peace Prize Thunderdome
by Anonymous | reply 21 | October 6, 2025 10:10 PM |
Jimmy Kimmel
by Anonymous | reply 22 | October 7, 2025 2:42 AM |
I wouldn't doubt that he's been perennially nominated by deadline since first originally taking office. He has to get it done before midterms. This is last chance.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | October 7, 2025 2:53 AM |
Serious question. Like SCOTUS, are there members on the board that can be vulnerable to bribes and/or blackmail? I know there have been some questionable choices in the past, but did any seem like the result of nefarious influences?
by Anonymous | reply 24 | October 7, 2025 3:07 AM |
He's no Martin Luther King Jr or Mother Theresa. My two favorites and his name should never be included among them.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | October 7, 2025 3:07 AM |
He'll sue for it
by Anonymous | reply 26 | October 7, 2025 3:20 AM |
How can someone who instigated a violent attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021 be considered for a Nobel Peace Prize?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | October 7, 2025 7:48 AM |
It's only being considered in his enormous head, R27.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | October 7, 2025 7:53 AM |
I hope it's Leo, so Catholic MAGA heads explode.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | October 7, 2025 8:08 AM |
I wonder if he'll be hosting a watch party for the announcements with gathered press surrounding him in the every more Kryloned Libarace Oval Office. I sure hope so! 🙏

Oh, just release the executive order Donnie.
by Anonymous | reply 31 | October 7, 2025 8:19 AM |
So what if Trump gets the Hamas hostages released? You think they'll give it to him?
by Anonymous | reply 32 | October 7, 2025 10:50 AM |
Will he take a break from bombing Venezuelan fishing boats to watch the announcement?
by Anonymous | reply 33 | October 7, 2025 10:54 AM |
The Nobel committee quietly removed Trump from the list of nominees
by Anonymous | reply 34 | October 7, 2025 11:03 AM |
…as he wages war on his own citizens… I’m sure the committee has him top of the list.
by Anonymous | reply 35 | October 7, 2025 11:23 AM |
Confirmed or speculation, r34?
by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 7, 2025 11:26 AM |
Wouldn't surprise me R32
Never forget that in the Iran crisis that embarrassed Jimmy Carter, those hostages were released 20 minutes after Reagan was inaugurated!!!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | October 7, 2025 11:35 AM |
Why would Hamas release the hostages now? Netanyahu nominated him. Makes no sense to reward their enemies.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | October 7, 2025 12:56 PM |
This is news to Armenia and Azerbaijan!
by Anonymous | reply 39 | October 7, 2025 1:03 PM |
I would imagine that the decision for the Peace Prize has already been made if they're announcing it on 10/10. So, even if hostages are released today, it'll be too late for Trump to get the 2025 prize.
The Twitterverse is mentioning it might be Greta Thunberg's year or Zelensky.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | October 7, 2025 1:17 PM |
My guess is either Leo or Jane Goodall’s Roots & Shoots.
Because they never gave her one when she was alive and they don’t award them posthumously.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | October 7, 2025 1:20 PM |
If Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize he should try being more like Nelson Mandela.
by Anonymous | reply 42 | October 7, 2025 2:13 PM |
The deadline for Nobel nominations is January 31, so Pope Leo is out.
by Anonymous | reply 43 | October 7, 2025 2:46 PM |
A pope has never won the Nobel Peace Prize.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | October 7, 2025 2:52 PM |
They should give it to Biden in the hopes that it'll make Trump stroke out.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | October 7, 2025 7:20 PM |
That rant would be venomous even by Trump’s standards.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | October 7, 2025 7:40 PM |
A cease fire doesn’t warrant a Nobel Prize, for god’s sake.
Plus, it’s likely a ceasefire that will broken in a matter of days. Netanyahu has already said many times that the return of the hostages doesn’t mean the end of the war.
by Anonymous | reply 47 | October 7, 2025 7:49 PM |
Trump believes the only reason Obama got the Nobel Prize is because he was the first Black POTUS.
Therefore, he feels he should get it because he's the first Orange POTUS
by Anonymous | reply 48 | October 7, 2025 9:03 PM |
Nobel Peace Prize Committee...
Please, please, please, do NOT award the Nobel Peace Prize to the motherfucking criminal Trump. Please don't.
Begging. Please.
by Anonymous | reply 49 | October 7, 2025 9:21 PM |
R40 Oh, right. Poor Greta.

Can someone - anyone ! - explain to me how he was elected to the Presidency twice ?
by Anonymous | reply 51 | October 7, 2025 9:47 PM |
R51, white supremacy is strong in the US. Having a black president made them lose their minds. No way they were going to vote for another
by Anonymous | reply 52 | October 7, 2025 10:22 PM |
Did someone say nominations?
by Anonymous | reply 53 | October 8, 2025 1:06 AM |
If Trump is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, then the prize will be forever tainted with the stench of a useless and meaningless award.
by Anonymous | reply 54 | October 8, 2025 2:33 AM |
Trump won’t win the Noble Peace prize. Especially not with his brutal deportation program.
But if he is able to pull of a ceasefire in Gaza and put in place a framework for a lasting peace, then that’s more than Obama or Biden were able to do, and Trump, or at least his administration, deserves some credit.
by Anonymous | reply 55 | October 8, 2025 2:43 AM |
He didn’t stop a single one of the wars he claims to have. All those countries laugh at him and say he had little to do with it
by Anonymous | reply 56 | October 8, 2025 2:49 AM |
Trump says he believes he deserves the Nobel Peace Prize for bringing to an end The Battle of The Network Stars.
by Anonymous | reply 57 | October 8, 2025 3:03 AM |
Nonsense R55.
You're talking abou peace of the grave, not real peace
by Anonymous | reply 58 | October 8, 2025 8:31 AM |
[quote]But if he is able to pull of a ceasefire in Gaza and put in place a framework for a lasting peace, then that’s more than Obama or Biden were able to do, and Trump, or at least his administration, deserves some credit.
It's a lot easier to "negotiate" peace when one side's been decimated and its remaining population is homeless and starving.

How high are you that you wrote that? What drugs did you take and how much?
"A lasting peace?" A LASTING PEACE?? Good god, the disconnect...
