The English actor who plays the effete Inspector Lynley is also the same guy who played the musclebound Harald in The Vikings. A handsome English actor with a great body. And, he's an excellent actor. Kind of a unicorn.

So they are redoing the Inspector Lynley TV series based on the novels by Elizabeth George? I wish they hadn't discontinued the original one with Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small.

The new Lynley isn't anywhere as good as the last. What made the former work was the relationship between Lynley and Havers. In this version, the show starts off acting as though there will be tensions, but then, by the end of the first episode, they're best buds. Just doesn't work. Despite Leo's muscles
