BREAKING NEWS: Homosexual rapper Lil Nas X "has entered inpatient treatment" – but for what?
Lil Nas X has entered an inpatient treatment program. Following his arrest last month, the Grammy winner, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was scheduled to appear in a pre-trial hearing in Los Angeles on Monday. According to Rolling Stone, Hill’s lawyers told the court he was not able to attend the hearing because he is “in treatment” at an out-of-state facility. His lawyers did not specify what exactly the singer was receiving treatment for.
“Defendant is allowed to remain out of state as long as he remains in treatment,” Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Shellie Samuels said, adding that if Hill’s “treatment changes, and he becomes outpatient, then we’ll talk.”
Following the hearing, Hill’s lawyer Drew Findling told reporters that they are “doing what is best for Montero from a personal standpoint and a professional standpoint, but most importantly for his well-being.”
“He is surrounded by an amazing family, an amazing team of people that care about him and love him, and we’re just addressing those issues. It’s really as simple as that,” Findling said. “He’s had a great life, and he’ll continue to have a great life. This is a bump that he’s going to get over.”
Last month, the LAPD responded to reports of a man walking “nude in the street” in Los Angeles before identifying the individual as Hill. The 26-year-old was arrested and hospitalized for a possible drug overdose. A few hours after he arrived at the hospital, Hill was discharged and taken to jail, according to the New York Times. He was charged with four felonies — three counts of battery with injury to a police officer, and one count of resisting an executive officer — for which he could face more than ten years in prison. Hill pleaded not guilty in a court appearance in August and was released on a conditional $75,000 bail. His next hearing is set for November.
The Cut has reached out to Hill’s representatives for comment and will update this post if we hear back.

He's probably drying his brain out from drugs & getting inpatient psych help.

Hopefully it's one of the effective facilities and not just a vacation.

Well, that rules out Betty Ford.

Inpatient treatment for lack of talent!

Didn’t the tests they ran actually confirm that he had no drugs in his system, maybe marinuana? I think his mother did/does suffer from a serious mental illness, so it perhaps something genetic coming on? I hope not. Hopefully just drugs and he will get sober and enjoy his life.

Lil Nas X’s father is a sweetheart. Amazing to see such a supportive, loving father to a gay son.

[quote] “Despite what people say @lilnasx is the greatest kid a parent can be BLESSED with. Although his mom is in a struggle with an addiction she’s STILL a QUEEN and he goes through great lengths to make sure we’re taking care of. Those who have family members and friends dealing with addiction understands that there ain’t enough money you can throw at this situation to make it right. I don’t usually address personal issues publicly but felt like this need to be. Please join us in keeping her in your PRAYERS.”

His mother is a low-bottom addict. It sounds like he has good supportive people around him and her though. Wish him well. I think he’s very attractive.

I was just thinking, it's probably not drugs and he's off getting his meds adjusted which is incredibly sad. Maybe he was just manic? At least his father seems to have a good head on his shoulders, looking after his son.

Tests confirmed formed that Lil Nas X was NOT under the influence when he was arrested and hospitalized. He has only spoken publicly about abusing weed when his grandma died in 2018 and taking mushrooms while making his first album. That doesn’t seem like a serious drug user to me, but then I’ve taken a lot of drugs myself.

I hope he doesn’t have a late-developing organic mental disease like Britney or poor Amanda Byrnes. He sounded totally sane in his post the morning he was released—embarrassed and shaken up but optimistic.

I bet he took a synthetic designer drug that they don’t screen for. Maybe by accident. People are selling NBOme as LSD. Very scary research chemical.

I wonder what things treatment centers do to repair brain health after using 25l. Maybe getting some sort of somatic therapy early enough could mitigate serotonin syndrome or something. Who knows, it’s so new.

They are charging him with four felonies, including battery of a police officer. He probably resisted arrest by pulling his arm away or swatting the officer’s hand, as most sentient beings do when agitated, such as losing your mind at 4am on a novel research chemical when you’re 26. Charge stacking and not right.

Lil Nas X is supposedly worth $9 million.
If that's true, he will have access to some very good treatment and medical care.

There is no evidence that Lil Nas X was on 25i-NBOme or any other drug when he was arrested and hospitalized.

Nas was drug tested at the hospital anfter his anrrest. He had no drugs in his system. If he was on meth, that’d show up.

Young people can’t even enjoy drugs anymore. Fentanyl instead of heroin, unknown research chemicals instead of LSD, meth instead of MDMA, even the weed today is too strong.

[quote] Among blotter seized and tested in Minas Gerais, Brazil in 2014, the presence of one or more NBOMEs was detected in over 50% of samples.
These chemicals have nearly no history of human use prior to 2010 when they first became available online.

Holy shit. This sounds like what Nas could have been on. How horrible. He probably had no idea what it was, thought it was LSD. No longer safe to take any blotter acid.
