Great soundtrack and intriguing but I am just not smart enough to figure it out. Still, I rewatch periodically and have both versions.

I like the one that made more sense. I think it's sad watching Jake Gyllenhaal die and that's what made the movie great.

Richard Kelly seems better suited for my music videos. He needs a good film editor. He's talented at cinematography and certain scenes but weaving it together coherently, he needs more support because we're not in his head.

I was obsessed with this film for a while. Saw it in its original theatrical release shortly after 9/11 and was one of 5 people in the audience.

I definitely prefer the original theatrical version with Echo and the Bunnymen's KILLING MOON at the beginning. The added scenes really add nothing.
