Folks have been totally righteously celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run," but there are so many other songs that "typify" America.
What are your favorites? I will love Tom Petty forever and his loss was a loss for music. "Refugee" was so prescient so many decades ago, but he probably got so much more attention for "The Waiting," something everybody understood.
It's one of my favorites, here with Eddie Veder on lead vocals.
