I eat. Isn't that what everyone does?

Stop the sugar, that means no bread, potato, rice or pasta. Your hunger wil dissipate in about a week.

Just go ahead and eat, op. Eat and eat and eat.
What could go wrong? I mean, I do it, ok maybe I’m slightly chubby.

The other poster is correct. Increase your protien intake and cut out simple carbs, or carbs all together. If Ozempic does not work for you, you are insulin resistant, meaning you don't process carbs and sugars correctly. I am the same way. I was hungry all the time, I was always thinking about food. A sweet treat would cut the cravings for about an hour and then I was right back to hungry. Ozempic didn't work for me as far as weight loss. My doctor wanted to increase the dose but I was tired of puking an shitting all the time. I cut out carbs all togheter. Full Carnivore diet. Eggs, cheese, dairy, meat are my only diet. I read every lable and count every carb. I never go above 20 in a day. It is hard at first, the first week you feel like shit as your body is craving those simple sugars but then it all sort of goes away. Now if I am hungry, I eat but I eat protein. 20g protien yogurt, a protien drink, lunch meat, a turkey stick. Part of it is mental too. If am sitting there thinking I want something to snack on, and my only choices are meats and yogurt I realize I am just craving a sweet thing, not really hungry. It is hard at first but gets really easy. Even eating out, I choose a steak or grilled chicken and green veggies. No bread but I don't make a big deal about it if the table gets bread, I just don't eat it. I have lost 100 pounds in six months and all I did was change what and how I eat. I wish I had done this 20 years ago,

Shop the perimeter of the grocery store.
Avoid Trader Joe’s food and anything that sneaks sugar, dextrose etc into everything.
Have boiled eggs on hand and eat one when you feel like snacking.
Cut out all wheat and dairy as well if it edges out vegetables you could be eating.
Have gum and herbal tea around for when you feel like putting something in your pie hole.
Make a simple vegetable soup and eat that at lunch and dinner with your protein.
Go for a 15 minute walk after dinner.

Add fiber.
Log what you eat into a calorie counter app. The laziness to have to do so will make you less hungry.
Put away all visible food on your counters. If you don’t cut out bread. which you should, freeze it so it’s not grabable.
Make half your plate vegetables at each meal

R4 R7 R8 R9 are absolutely correct. It's the sugar that kills. Sugar triggers insulin, which is a fat storage hormone. Insulin blocks the body's ability to burn fat. Once you quit sugar, and your body has depleted its sugar reserves (doesn't take long), you will go into fat burning mode as your primary fuel source.

I am type 2 diabetic.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | September 14, 2025 10:11 PM |
If you are type 2 then the Ozempic is for that and not for weight loss. They will probably try to up your dosage. If you can tolerate it go that route. If you are not losing weight ask to be put on Mounjaro. Since you are type 2 it will be covered. Mounjaro is shown better at weight loss in combination with type 2. I woudl still suggest going low no carb in combination with the GLP-1.

Drink lots of water. Eat foods with no taste like rice cakes.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | September 14, 2025 10:42 PM |
I also have type 2 diabetes. My doctor put me on Mounjaro about six months ago because my blood sugar was no longer in good control. It's made a huge difference for me. I lost weight and my A1C is now at a level that's considered pre-diabetic. Most important, it has really suppressed my appetite, making it easy to avoid sugar and carbs.

Have you tried vaping nicotine?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | September 14, 2025 10:59 PM |
R14 that is awesome. My mother went on it and she lost 49 pounds and her A1C is back to regular levels. r15 you laugh but nicotine patches can help curb hunger,

Have your brain scanned and ask the neurologist-endocrinologist about Prader-Willi, OP.
