I was banned before I even had a chance to make a comment. But now that I'm back, being shot was the best thing to happen to that 2nd rate podcaster's career.

Me too, banned for 24 hours after a couple of comments on the various KKKirk threads. And it was def that; I've had a busy week and made no other comments (prior to banning; since posting privileges returned, a lot).

We're clearly keeping our rightwing trolls busy.

V8Fairy and it's socks got me banned for another 48 hours. My 4th ban this month. I triggered the fascist freak by pointing out his MAGAT Dr Frankenstein was offed by his own monster. New ban coming in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2..

Same. It just makes me realize that my life is better without DL.

The boards owners and/or Webmaster may be a wee bit concerned about the general crackdown on free speech going on at the moment in the country (US).

They may be trying to protect the overall forum; a government out there baying for "liberal blood" and anyone who posts/speaks anything mildly noxious, may very well target a forum like DL. They may be seeking cover for future trouble/s.

This past week is the first time I've been really concerned about the future of this board and free speech in general in the US. This is a rough time we're in, hopefully it will pass when something else comes along to steal the spotlight.
