Anyone else love being on the bus at night?
Makes me feel alive. Like life is worth living, that I'm not so isolated.
Whenever I'm home at night and see the bus passing, it makes me feel like I want to be on that bus because you can see the lights and windows and it's exciting to be on the bus. Like, where is it going?

A few Christmases past, there was a H&M commercial of a young woman on a nearly empty city bus, riding through a snowy city street to the tune of Judy Garland's - Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas ' the ypung woman was wiping tears from her eyes as the song played.
That commercial stuck with me to this day. I wanted to be thay young woma riding a ciry bus at Christmas

I love riding on buses during the day when you can sit back, relax, and watch the world go by, even better when it is raining or snowing.

The older i get the more I like the bus. Patience and enjoying the trip - instead of rushing to get stuff done.

Partner and I rode local busses often when we retired and moved to a new city. It was a great way to get to know the area without having to drive. They're clean, with very friendly drivers, and nearly empty mid-day. But they are SLOW. We love riding busses in new cities when we travel, even at night. J'adore riding the bus along Santa Monica Blvd in LA from WeHo to the Pier. The people watching is priceless.

I like the bus, especially for a long ride during which I can look out the window, listen to music, and think

I wish they were cleaner, though.

I took the subway to the pharmacy this morning but there were two unexpected stops where I had to get off and get on a different train or walk. It would have cost $8.00 to park, plus the driving vs. $2.20 r/t on the T.
The pharmacy tech said she had UC too, but took a different med. Atypical 20-something, I thought, talking to a stranger about meds you inject yourself ,that control shitting which I assume is cringe. But what do I know?
I took a Crosstown (express) bus home. It was faster and the WiFi worked. Mid-day, so it was empty. Itās nice to sit back and let someone else drive, I find. Much nicer, in fact.
