Anyone else sickened to death by all the Democrats mourning a fascist charlatan?

No one demanded that they had to gloat or anything. They simply could've done what they do best - stay silent and do nothing, which would've been far more compassion than that POS ever deserved.

But no, they had to "honor his memories" and "continue his work".

If you had any doubt that most Democrats will either look the other way or cheer him on when Trump starts sending progressives to concentration camps for practicing their 1st amendent right then you're fucking delusional.

No, I like people who behave appropriately.

by Anonymousreply 1September 11, 2025 9:59 PM

None of us believe their grief is genuine and neither do the conservatives they're trying to win over with this shit.

Spineless AND brainless. Fucking clown ass retards the bunch of them.

by Anonymousreply 2September 11, 2025 10:00 PM

I have to agree, R2. Do what they did when Hortman was *actually* assassinated. Give them crickets.

by Anonymousreply 3September 11, 2025 10:02 PM

Is this that “Christian concern” shit?

by Anonymousreply 4September 11, 2025 10:06 PM

I can vouch for R1. He behaved most appropriately when Hitler was found dead. Even passionately scolded everyone in town for not honoring his memories despite losing his voice from days of bawling.

by Anonymousreply 5September 11, 2025 10:06 PM

OP, this is the wrong thing to be upset about.

by Anonymousreply 6September 11, 2025 10:07 PM

R6 No it's not. These clowns are literally our only official line of defense against a full descension into a full blown fascist dystopia.

by Anonymousreply 7September 11, 2025 10:10 PM

So you endorse political assassination, is that right, OP?

by Anonymousreply 8September 11, 2025 10:15 PM

Reality Check for all you Democratic "both siders" FACISTS DON'T PLAY BY THE RULES

The man who targeted and killed Democratic State Representative Mellissa Hortman was a Trump Supporter.

The man who targeted the home of Democratic Gov Josh Shapiro was a Trump supporter.

The men who wanted to hang Mike Pence on Jan 6 were Trump supporters.

The man who targeted and killed the son of Obama appointed Judge Esther Salas was a Trump supporter.

The man who tried to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and assaulted her husband in their home was a Trump supporter.

The men who were convicted of trying to kidnap Gov Gretchen Whitmer were Trump supporters.

The man who sent pipe bombs to the homes of Obama & Biden was a Trump supporter.

There is no equivalent or even similar list of Obama or Biden supporters who have carried out similar murders, attempted murders or violent attacks.

It sickens me that people are carrying on over this. Fuck this guy. He agitated every day of his adult life. He was a PROFESSIONAL AGITATOR. I'm sure he wanted everyone to have guns too

This guy was a piece of shit. He used to come on to girls on campuses. He was a creep

He got what he wanted. He worked hard so that someone would shoot him.

All this hysterical carrying on is unbelievable. His pos body was taken on Air Force One or Two? He was an influencer.

Big deal? He's one person. About 62 people get murdered every day in America. I won't lose a second of sleep over this scumbag. And neither should anyone else

by Anonymousreply 11September 11, 2025 10:24 PM

What’s weirder is that an organisation in the UK that’s meant to be for LGB rights posted the below message on Twitter.

Before people get all mad, I’m not saying he deserved violence or death in any way and he should have had the right to free speech without being harmed for giving his views, but he was no friend to LGB people and certainly wasn’t in favour of equal rights for us (he was anti same-sex marriage and described gay people as “sexual anarchy”).

As OP says, no one should gloat over his death, but is it too much to ask for an LGB organisation not to tweet this kind of thing? With friends like these…

YES.

It's a very demoralizing omen for how they'll react when Trump kicks the bucket.

by Anonymousreply 15September 11, 2025 10:29 PM

I don't see the point of whipping Democrats to death for failing to meet some impossible standard of conduct.

by Anonymousreply 25September 11, 2025 10:54 PM

Every Turning Point rally is a state of violence. The mistake many are making, even in good faith, is that the gunman brought violence into an event that would otherwise have been peaceful. But it wasn’t - fascism is already a state of violence.

The shooter’s act can only therefore be regarded as a counter-violence. Non-violence is an impossibility within fascism. There’s only one way out of this.

And so Kirk died in a state of violence that he himself been enthusiastically responsible for fermenting. He fucked about and found the fuck out. And extending any sympathy towards him does nothing but legitimise fascism.

by Anonymousreply 26September 11, 2025 11:16 PM

No they really needed to give this crickets. I was floored that so many people on the center left felt it necessary to go on and on and on about this fucking deplorable piece of shit. Charlie Kirk said that the man who beat Paul Pelosi was a patriot and a hero. That’s all you need to know about Charlie Kirk. He deserved nothing from our side.

by Anonymousreply 27September 11, 2025 11:20 PM

[quote] I was floored that so many people on the center left felt it necessary to go on and on and on about this fucking deplorable piece of shit.

I saw a lot of people saying today that the divide is no longer left and right, but rather between those who are horrified at someone being assassinated over politics and those who became ecstatic from the sight of seeing a man horrifically murdered.

by Anonymousreply 28September 11, 2025 11:48 PM

They are not "mourning a fascist." They are commenting that political violence is NOT the solution.

They aren't morning him. They calling out using political assassination as remotely acceptable, no matter what your poltical view.

I guess it was inevitable that we'd get violence trolls.

You can think someone is a bad person but also not celebrate their murder. It's quite simple. Kirk was a professional troll and mouthpiece for the Evangelical right; he was very much a shit-stirrer and had a litany of viewpoints that I abhor. I'm not "mourning", but I find it alarming that anyone who won't commit to celebrating an assassination is being dragged through the mud. Murder and violence is wrong, even if Kirk himself stoked those very embers. That is a hard line in the sand for me.

by Anonymousreply 49September 12, 2025 2:07 AM

Yes. I hate it. Yet I understand it. You don’t want to incite things or make yourself a target. Scary fucking times and we have to take the temperature down. And if that means pretending that Kirk’s death is a tragedy, then so be it.

by Anonymousreply 50September 12, 2025 2:08 AM

R50 no because at the end of the day, they are all fucking pussies and aren’t gonna do a goddamn thing.

by Anonymousreply 51September 12, 2025 2:10 AM

Nobody should be celebrating a death, not even a fascist charlatan.

by Anonymousreply 52September 12, 2025 2:10 AM

Very few people are celebrating, R32. The outrage over randos on social media is outsized to an insane scale. They're blaming "Democrats," "The Left," calling for civil war, and you're fixating on a few post on X?

by Anonymousreply 53September 12, 2025 2:15 AM

Why is MSNBC- whatever- covering this crap all day and night?

by Anonymousreply 54September 12, 2025 2:17 AM

R50 Fuck that bullshit. I ain’t gon disrespect this cunt. I call everybody a cunt lol. It is what is. Sad some children lost their father. But I WONT pretend. That’s what I’m not gon do. And neither should any of you. This man was in the press this very week for saying some violent ass shit against Kamala Harris. Fuck is we talkin bout. MAGA love realness. Get real then bitches. Own up to what you have created.

by Anonymousreply 55September 12, 2025 2:20 AM

[quote]Charlie Kirk said that the man who beat Paul Pelosi was a patriot and a hero.

R26 I agree with you. I think Democrats should appropriately express sympathy for his family and followers, and state that we are becoming a more violent country politically. And then go silent. And then remind folks how MAGA was horrendous in responding to any right wing violence, up to pardoning and then wanting to celebrate and honor the violent J6 insurrectionists.

by Anonymousreply 56September 12, 2025 2:20 AM

Democrats better come up with a clear, concise message to counter this smearing because the other side's message is "Civil War now."

by Anonymousreply 57September 12, 2025 2:26 AM

I’m seeing people posting updates about people who set themselves up to be fired by posting abhorrent messages, particularly people in the health and education fields. Being publicly partisan to that degree doesn’t go well for people in those fields.

by Anonymousreply 58September 12, 2025 2:27 AM

[quote] Democrats better come up with a clear, concise message to counter this smearing

Unless you can erase the internet and people’s screen captures of what has been posted, it will be hard to do. If you look online, you see that people are taking names and saving what their seeing,

by Anonymousreply 59September 12, 2025 2:30 AM

R59 Well that brings us to the Epstein v Kirk questions. Plural.

Interesting timing for a horrible assassination , further boosted by the algorithms in place, to take up so much media attention bandwidth and push Trump and his birthday card and his resistance to transparency... push all that to the edge.

My take: the Dems should keep talking about the Epstein questions.
