If Kirk was hit because he was ranting about release the Epstein files, it seems obvious they are trying to copycat off the Minneapolis shooter. It's something they would do. That’s not what the clips stated in the tweet you linked to. The WSJ added an update to the story, stating the some officials later in the day cautioned against reaching conclusions from the preliminary report. That’s standard law enforcement language.
