Poor Tim.
Susan Sarandon, cunt that she is, looks great.
Barry's not doing too badly, either, although he should reconsider the hair.

Any remakes happening?

Barry Bostwick bulging in his oversized underwear and horn rimmed glasses started by fetish for hot nerds.

A $166,000,000 profit on a $900,000 investment.
That's amazing.

That would be a horror, because it would be impossible in the current Hollywood culture to have Frank-N-Furter be a male transvestite, and played by a cisgender male actor. These are two essential elements that are crucial to the success of the original movie. What made the character who he is, is that he's definitely male and looks male while wearing women's clothing. He is not transsexual, but it would be impossible for Hollywood to cast anyone but a trans actor.

They tried to remake it with Laverne Cox as Frank-N-Furter, but even she knew it was hot garbage.

It would be fun to see it again on a big screen. Not sure I’m up for a midnight showing. Halloween is on a Friday so maybe can find a showing in NYC.

It's a shame to see Curry looking like that (particularly when Susan Sarandon is still out there, flashing her tits); yes, it would be fun to go to a midnight showing because the party atmosphere is what makes it fun

I can’t bear to see Sarandon’s tits again.

I went to a couple midnight screenings in my younger years and had a good time. But you miss a lot of the actual movie because the audience is so loud.
So one afternoon I rented a VHS -(hahaha) and watched it totally sober.
It was so boring.

I love Tim and had a huge crush on him back in the day.

regardless of what you think of the movie as a standalone product, the phenomenon is pretty fascinating, and the origins are just as interesting. For anyone who hasn't already heard this, O'Brien created it while on unemployment after being fired from Jesus Christ Superstar, and the demo he shopped around was of a 1-man acoustic show that is undeniably inspired by The Who, the Stones, and Lou Reed. Really great music and interesting trajectory---impressive that he was able to keep his name on the credits, and was in the movie.

Almost 35 years ago, when I was young, the fun we had, ... costume contests at the local cinemas, theme parties, ... Also the music aged really well.

Tim can play Dr. Scott now and be woke doing it.

What an incredible find, R12!
I listened to the entire thing.
Richard O'Brien is such an amazing talent.
