I’m a Delta Frequent Flier. I’ve noticed over the last few years, the temperature inside the cabin feels like 50 degrees. It’s freezing!
Are other plane companies so cold?

Why don’t you tell a flight attendant it’s too cold? They have control over the cabin temperature.

I am always cold on flights.

You need to double up your craftans. Hell triple them if you need to. Wear a bubble coat also and stop being a sexy whore.

But I am wearing my finest flannel caftans when flying, R3.

On Southwest, I've found that it varies depending on where you sit. I'm fine towards the front, but in the center, it's like an icebox. Maybe it's a 737 problem.

it’s not cold, you are just old.

Maybe it's a much needed deterrent for those who remove their shoes and subject everyone else to their cheesy smelling feet

My last flight from Newark to LAX was like a deep freeze. I looked around the cabin to everyone wrapped in a blanket. I was in Business/First. It was during those days of record heat and humidity this past summer in NYC. Maybe they thought we'd enjoy it.

Flights and movie theaters are both always freezing. It does feel like the temp is in the 50’s. I always take a cardigan or zip hoodie

Different aircraft proved air differently . It depends on whether there are indiviso vents, for one thing. Also if long haul or short haul. Overnight or daylight.

Every transatlantic flight I've been on in the last two years has been freezing, no matter what airline. 737s in particular.

Maybe it’s both a cost saving and a way to reduce air rage. People feel more claustrophobic and reactive when they’re too hot, so refrigerate ‘em.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | September 9, 2025 10:47 AM |
737s don’t fly across the Atlantic.
