Tunis or *not* Tunis?

That is the question.

Well, it’s not entirely accidental, is it?

They must have had boarding passes. Whether they were digital or hard copies, they never looked at those passes when the airline employee booked the flight to confirm the destination was correct?

They had to have gone to the gate in order to board. The gate has a sign with the flight’s destination posted. Did they check that detail - as any non-cretin would?

Even during the boarding process (i.e., when the plane is still on the ground), there are normally announcements that include the flight’s destination. Were they too entitled to be bothered to pay attention to any of that?

This situation was not an accident. It was willful ignorance. Plain and simple.

No sympathy.

So this could be "Home Alone 2" meets "Ishtar"

Sometimes it's the type of plane and the area. I once almost went to Kalispell Montana, one, because this was a short haul flight area where all the planes were on the ground and situated within about 75 feet of one another. I was transferring from another flight that had a delayed arrival, and time was short. I was directed out onto the tarmac and saw a plane. I stepped aboard, and almost immediately the flight attendant announce flight so and so to Kalispell will be leaving in 5 minutes. I leapt out of my seat, grabbed my bag and jumped off of the plane.

Another friend arrived at the airport expecting to go to Jacksonville, Florida. Instead, she found herself on a plane headed to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She had booked the flight herself and the airport codes were so similar, she accidentally booked herself to Wyoming. She also leapt out of her seat.
