They can come and perform trash pickup duty. We need more help with the dirty streets than we do protestors. Or they could perform road maintenance - the roads are in horrific condition.

I've seen multiple photos from the ICE center and there are zero protestors today. Sounds like the secret antifa bat signal (sarcasm in case someone gets it twisted) went out and the protesters decided to stay away and not give them the show they were hoping for.

Saw some news footage and there are about 20ish people at the ICE center. Didn't see any LEOs although I'm sure they're there somewhere.

Th usual Russian modus operandi is: 1) send out some internet invites to come down for a peaceful candlelight protest; 2) import out-of-town (out-of-country?) troublemakers to start riots and burning; 3) call in the National Guard- and FOX News to cover the ensuing melee.

I just drove downtown and it is a quiet, peaceful Saturday with very comfortable temperatures. I didn't see troops, I saw food carts and a few homeless people. Crime is down 51%.

I watched a video taken of Portland earlier today and people were sitting in parks, there was a farmer's market and overall quiet.
