Chloe Malle is new Vogue editor

Candy Bergen’s daughter will take over from Anna.

by Anonymousreply 18September 3, 2025 9:58 AM

She was appointed *under* Anna who is now Global Editorial Director of all VOGUE editions worldwide and Chloe’s title is the much watered down “Head of Editorial Content”.

There are no more Editors in Chief at any VOGUE edition. Sadly, they are all just Anna’s lapdogs… tasked with executing her stale, tired global vision for the brand and recycling shoots and other content that have largely been centralized and produced for use across all markets under her direct supervision.

Imagine making this shit your life's work.

by Anonymousreply 2September 2, 2025 2:54 AM

No. She already was Head of Editorial Content. She is now being promoted to Editor of American Vogue.

Editor!

Louis Malle’s daughter

Watch out Chloe. Just wait until the Manson family hears about this!

How many celebratory dinners has Candice eaten today?

by Anonymousreply 7September 2, 2025 4:11 AM

Such a shame she didn't inherit her mom's beauty.

The pendulum swings back.

After going all-POC-all-the-time — Edward Enninful, Elaine Welteroth, Radhika Jones, Alexi McCammond (aborted) — Condé Nast has pivoted to giving the WASPiest WASPs editor-in-chief jobs.

See Chloe and the new Vanity Fair twat.

They need to just shutter it now. Vogue is a shell of itself. I used to love to leaf through my mother’s thick September issues growing. Vanity fair hasn’t been the same since Grayson Carter left. Wintour had lost her touch and I think that is partly due to Andre Leon Talley’s firing and then death

I stand corrected. Post withdrawn.

by Anonymousreply 11September 2, 2025 12:28 PM

It should have been Joan Juliet Buck.

by Anonymousreply 12September 2, 2025 2:14 PM

Brown grad. It fits too well for words!

by Anonymousreply 13September 2, 2025 3:42 PM

What

by Anonymousreply 14September 2, 2025 11:38 PM

It's over.

by Anonymousreply 15September 2, 2025 11:40 PM

I remember reading in a gossip mag in my childhood that Candice Bergen arrived home flew home to greet her husband wearing nothing but a fur coat but the buckle of the belt set off the security scanner and she had to strip.

Mon dieu!

So many old people clinging to power. Even when they "leave," they are still in charge.

by Anonymousreply 17September 3, 2025 6:52 AM

[QUOTE]It should have been Joan Juliet Buck.

Isn't she the one who wrote a glowing feature about Bashar Assad's wife?
