Take that orange one!!!

The ruling gives him until Oct. 14 to do just that.

[quote]Appeals court finds Trump’s tariffs illegally used emergency power, but leaves them in place for now
I'm sorry, but this kind of shit just irks me. Like, FUCKING DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW!
Surely there must be some charge that could be applied immediately. This must be a felony, right? Can they cuff him now? Can't believe we're in this situation. A ruling that something he did was illegal means nothing anymore.

You know what I want to see? If the goddamned courts refuse to do anything to stop this, every time they rule against him, one of us gets to cunt punt him. WITHOUT his fucking diaper on.
Don’t wanna use your foot? A sledgehammer instead.
He’d either be dead or he’d knock his shit off.

It might be wishful thinking. But I think it was easier for the courts to side with Trump earlier on before the poisonous effects of his policies began to take hold. Now that it’s obvious to everyone with his desperate consolidation of power, the weakening of the other branches of government, including their own with his open defiance of judges, I think they will be less likely to do so. The tariffs have had a horrible effect on the economy and America’s reputation overall. And the court, without exception, would be seen as being underneath Trump’s thumb if they upheld them. I think the judges will want to flex their muscle a bit to reclaim some of their power and not just roll over.
My big fear is possibly a “Too Big to Fail” argument considering the size of the refund check the US Government would have to write if the tariffs were overturned that the administration dramatically says would bankrupt the U.S.

It's wishful thinking. The Supreme Court just ruled again in his favor on a different issue. And with no explanation as to their reasoning.

Which issue was that r6?

Who can count, R7...it's become a 6-3 rubber stamp.

The words craven chicken-shit whores never were more apt than when applied to the USSC majority conservatives.
I'll give this to Trump.
As any accomplished Con Man/Grifter does, he unerringly identified his marks and sell-outs, and nobody embodies them more than Roberts, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Coney-Barrett.

I'm sorry, R3, were you under the impression that the president can be held criminally accountable for actions performed under his constitutional authority?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | September 10, 2025 11:40 AM |
That orange pile of dog shit continues to break the law and defy the Constitution. Other than these little hand slaps, NOTHING HAPPENS! He is testing to see how far he can go with no repercussions, and so far, it's been a disaster for democracy. Mark my word - we will be in concentration camps and doing the Nazi salute by the end of the year. And the courts will just look away.

The silver lining to this is that it gives more time for the effects of tarrifs to further hit before election day November 5. The administration probably won't file appeal until October 14. How long for a decision from SCOTUS? Voter discontent does not favor MAGA candidates.
