I watched a lot of the court footage these last few days and there is more damning evidence on Wendy than I originally thought.

I didn’t know she approached the crime scene after Dan was shot and, seeing all the police activity and cordoned off areas centered on the house where her husband and two kids lived, didn’t get out of her car and ask what was going on or make a single phone call to police or anything. She simply turned her car around and drove to a liquor store and bought booze.

This whole family is something else. I don’t understand how they all switched into this mindset that murder to achieve your own ends is somehow okay.

They even tried to pin the murder on some poor schmo dating the daughter! Luckily he gathered that the whole situation was suss and went to the police.

It’s infuriating watching daughter Wendi testify - she has this very practiced, calm demeanor that’s so obviously fake, and part of her legal training.

R18, per some news reports, after Dan was murdered, the custody split was updated to be between Wendi (the kids’ mother and likely the co-plotter of Dan’s murder) and his parents (the kids’ paternal grandparents).

Don’t know how it has been going in actual practice, though. Obviously a lot would change if Wendi were incarcerated.
