I want a final season where Degrassi Community School is facing the bulldozer and many of the characters come back and let us in on where they are now. Craig, Eli, Riley, Manny, Holly J, Liberty, Declan, Maya, Drew, etc. and so on.

Degrassi would never face the bulldozer.

So did Marco end up sucking dick on the streets of Toronto? Because that's where he was headed.

I actually wish they kept Spinner and Marco beefing longer. It was resolved too easily.

I didn’t watch the original Degrassi, so I’m unfamiliar with the character, Wheels, but take it down a notch, R18. He died in 2007, but his body was unclaimed and he was buried in an unmarked grave in 2008, and his family didn’t learn of his death until 2012, so it’s not surprising for R17 to be shocked by a death that A) wasn’t widely publicized, and B) happened at such a young age.

His character didn't end well. He was the most troubled of the boys through the whole series.

Was it the bowling episode? I don't remember if it was a conversation with Joey or Snake, but a guy wearing glasses said something like "I was drunk, I drove, I killed a kid," and as someone who never watched the original Degrassi, I didn't know what he was talking about.

Haven't seen that but yes it would be him. It happened during their big graduation party weekend in the original series finale movie, School's Out.

Also, Lucy, his passenger, ended up paralyzed for a while.

I love a "Where are they now?" They look good.

I watched it for a long time. I don’t remember everything, but I did love it. Loved the first season with nerdy Voula and also Stephanie changing out of the dowdy clothes her mom made her wear to school into outfits that made her look like a total whore.

In my headcanon, TNG’s main queer couples found couples ended thusly:

Marco and Dylan reunited when Dylan finally got his shit together. They don’t have kids of their own, but are fabulous guncles to Paige and Alex’s kids. Alex needed convincing, but she was the one who carried them. Paige wants to raise them as mini-CEOs, but Alex, who gives great mom hugs, keeps them grounded.

Riley and Zane got back together in college. They have half-Greek, half-Korean kids. Riley coaches them on the weekend, Zane makes food for all their various cultural festivals.

Miles and Tristan both got their shit together. Miles has a socially-conscious small business, treats his employees like family, and gives generously to Degrassi. Tristan wrote a series of YA novels about a teenage drama queen guy and a bisexual bad boy with a heart of gold that totally aren’t based on anyone. They were optioned by Netflix.

Who was the bitchy girl in the original, hated by the audience, until we saw what she had to live with - looking after her drunk mother, always passed out on the sofa.

R45, Rumer Willis?

Yes, Wheels got into a car accident that killed someone and paralyzed Lucy for a while during the Schools Out finale movie to the OG show while he was wasted and driving. In the premiere of The Next Generation he shows up to the reunion for a minute to apologize to Lucy and then just leaves. I always assumed he wasn’t allowed inside or something.

And Joey FUCKED Tessa Campanelli, to quote Caitlin. Tessa got an abortion. Lucy taught Caitlin how to use condoms with a banana they named Joey.

Lucy was cool.

R45, the bitchy girl from the original show was Kathleen Mead. Turns out she was anorexic, had an alcoholic mother, and ended up being physically and emotionally abused by her creepy boyfriend. Her best friend, Melanie, lists off all those things in front of everyone, when they all get high at a slumber party.

Kathleen was one of my favorite characters.

R47 Wheels looks good there. The first crew was so odd-looking, and their accents were thick AF.

Because they’re Canadian.
