I'm sure they loved watching Amber -- a woman they could never get (Lucky them!) -- was taking a fall.

A big fall.

I didn’t know who Ms. Heard was before the trial. I ended up thinking she was so beautiful, though.

No wonder he fell for her.

I find her very average-looking and rather try-hard. But clearly, she must have the "it" factor for both Johnny and Elon to have lost their minds over her.

I think she is absolutely beautiful

I do think it’s funny that lecherous Depp chose a woman 25 years younger than he is, then was somehow puzzled when it all blew up in his face [bold]: o

I think it would have blown up even if he married a woman his own age. He's a dysfunctional addict.

The podcast "Who Trolled Amber?" is a really good investigation into how Depp's legal team used bot armies on the internet to manipulate public opinion against Amber.

And much of the media coverage was as misogynistic as possible, r9. The whole thing was disgusting

I started watching with no horse in the race

If anything, I disliked Johnny because he let the Dark Shadows movie become an unfunny schticky mess.

In very little time, I was hooked on the trial. It was clear to me that Amber was lying. Her smugness thinking she could call TMZ and play the victim came through pretty fast.

Camille filleted her on the stand. Elaine was unprepared and wouldn't stop trying to find angles that went nowhere (muffingate).

Oh really, what did she lie about?

The more people say how terrible she is, the more I see how possible it was for him to abuse her.

I remember when these pictures came out. To me she looked like she was manipulating the press, like she knew exactly what she was doing. It was so transparent to me. Yet the larger public was against Johnny Depp, calling him an abuser. I thought it was very unfair against Johnny and one sided.

Then when the trial happened, again the extreme opinion swang the other way. It was so abusive towards Heard, who seemed like some of the things were correct. I don't doubt the testimony of the assistant she texted who she discussed being kicked in the head with.

I believe their relationship was volatile and there was abuse on both sides. They abused each other, not one way or the other.

Amber seemed like she got with Johnny just to go along with the stardom, going on his plane and to the island, and she'd get pissed when he'd pass out or stop sugaring her with attention. They were two unstable, damaged people in a toxic relationship. Johnny in his midlife crisis left his wife and kids and spent his money on drugs and liquor trying to retain some of his youth, palling around with her young friends. He was an idiot and she used him up, using and milking him for everything, and trying milk the abuse angle for everything.

Anyway, that's what it always seemed like to me.

When I was getting a divorce from my piece of shit, son of a bitch, lazy fat vile cunt ex-husband (no bitterness there!), the Depp/Heard divorce was being handled by the same judge as our divorce.

They had a hearing scheduled on the same day as us, and unfortunately they settled. I wanted them to be there so I could take pictures and sell them to Harvey Levin.

Johnny set out to crush Amber like a roach and succeeded, but at the expense of losing his frau fanbase. They probably would have given him the benefit of the doubt about being an abuser if he hadn't gone on and kicked the shit out of her in court in full public view.

After careful consideration, I believe that Johnny often blacked out, & behaved inappropriately. However, I also believe Amber behaved inappropriately, & she got to a point where she was willing to outright lie, in order to pile on accusations that were false, in order to legally compromise Johnny.

They just weren’t a good match, however, he met his match when he met her, & both went ballistic, when things fell apart.

They weren’t well suited for one another, & one or both of them should have sought out therapy, & taken good advice, by walking away from the relationship IMMEDIATELY, once things started to go downhill.

Instead, both kept on seeking out ways to make things work, when it was clearly obvious things wouldn’t work. How could they, when both were constantly high and/or drunk? You cannot find common ground with a substance abuser, and/or with a malignant narcissist.

I believe Johnny went all out to defend his honor, because while they were both at fault, Amber made a decision to deal him dirty, & he wouldn’t let that stand. I too, would & will defend myself against false accusations, so I understand where he was coming from, however, her bullshit caused him to react repeatedly in a negative manner, & that’s when he should have realized that you cannot appease or compromise with a woman like Amber.

Say whatever you want about Johnny. Is or was he fucked up in various ways? ABSOLUTELY. But Amber made a decision to target & exploit his weaknesses for cash & prizes, rather than doing the right thing, & letting it all go.

Instead of becoming healthy & strong, Amber made a decision to take a few things that were true, exploit those few things that were true, & use them as a cudgel against Johnny, while ALSO adding on complete fabrications.

This 👆🏽is why Johnny flipped out and went all out & hard against Amber.

Somewhere in her story, Amber told right out lies about Johnny. His career was already in the shitter here in America, yet he chose to pursue justice because he knew deep down, that some of her stories were total bullshit.

There were plenty of legit issues that she could have used to go up against him, yet she chose to embellish, & outright lie about specific incidents, & that sent Johnny over the edge.

I totally understand Johnny fighting back.

If someone told 90% of the real truth about me, yet chose to make up 10% about me, making me out to be a monster? I’d fight back like all fucking hell, too.

Johnny isn’t perfect, nor is she, but either way, neither of them should be excused for outright lying about the other.

Hopefully, both have moved on, & have become better people through therapy, & deliberate, mindful, therapeutic practices that allow them both to not let something like this happen, ever again.
