Anyone Gone to Turket for Veneers?
They're so much cheaper than in the US. I know Turkey has become the hair transplant capital of the world, and I've heard veneers from there referred to as "Turkey Teeth," but wondering if anyone here has ever gotten them?
My own teeth are fine but as I've gotten older my upper lip has gotten longer and now hides my upper teeth when I smile, making it look like I gave meth mouth/no teeth. I looked into a lip lift by a plastic surgeon but was told I wasn't a good candidate; the amount of tooth show would be very minimal and I'd have a scar.

Do go and report back, OP. They're gonna make you beautiful again, like so.

I rather have ugly teeth than have my actual teeth shaved down to nubs where I experience chronic nerve pain.

I picture people coming out looking like that guy on the Trivago ads.

This British woman came home with severely misaligned veneers. She's mad at the Turkish dentists but the truth is, she needed an orthodontist to align her entire upper arch first.
So make sure to sort out any such issues before going for veneers.

Her teeth look fine, r5. What’s she bitching about?

It's not worth the hassle. Like everything else in life, you get what you pay for.

Turket would actually be a good idea for a name change tbqf. That country needs a reset.

They've been trying to change it to Turkiye or Turquie.

Veneers are the beauty equivalent of granite countertops.

Don't blame us for that disaster.

OP, please don't get the ultra white veneers like the woman in the pic. Choose a more reasonable off-white color appropriate for your age. Please don't look like a neon sign.
And mexico is probably easier and cheaper for someone from the US to get good dental work.

Have you considered in Invisalign and then whitening your teeth?
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 20, 2025 12:38 AM

R21 Invisalign won't do anything. My teeth are actually well placed and straight, I just want them to be more visible when I smile

Did a dentist suggest getting veneers would make your teeth more visible, or was that your idea?

I never heard of someone's upper lip getting longer with age and hiding their teeth.
