It's from Radar so take it with a drop of whiskey.
I hope it's an exaggeration. If Charles goes the BRF will start looking like the House of Usher.

Alcohol is toxic to humans and is contrary to anybody fighting cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 18, 2025 6:17 PM |
I don't believe this. Wasn't he basically cancer-free just a couple of months ago?
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 18, 2025 6:26 PM |
How else do you think I also got through all those years with that childish twit?
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 18, 2025 6:27 PM |
Radar online is the favorite news source for Real Housewives.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 18, 2025 6:30 PM |
So the photo evidence shows him with an umbrella. Maybe consider the source?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 18, 2025 6:33 PM |
Maybe it's Harry and Meghan who's driving him to drink. Trying to battle cancer, a freeloading brother, and these 2 grifters would make anyone hit the bottle.
by Anonymous | reply 6 | August 18, 2025 6:35 PM |
Meh. His grandmother the Queen Mother was quite the lush, enjoying Dubonnet and gin in the late morning, wine with her lunch, a couple of pre-dinner martinis then champagne during her evening meal. And she lived to be 101.
QEII also allegedly liked to have wine with her meals and a couple of glasses of champagne in the evenings. And she also lived to a ripe old age.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 18, 2025 7:15 PM |
I thought the BRF were gin drinkers, this is a scandal.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 18, 2025 7:25 PM |
Neither of those was living with cancer, r7.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 18, 2025 7:26 PM |
The Queen Mother actually did go through a bout of stomach cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | August 18, 2025 7:38 PM |
Two things one should always avoid when dealing with cancer. Alcohol and sweets.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 18, 2025 10:02 PM |
Depends on whether it is terminal. It seems perverse to avoid alcohol if you enjoy it and you are soon to die anyway.

If it's been determined he's terminal, then he's no longer fighting. The key point in the headline is "losing battle." I don't think this is out of the realm of possibility.

He's a king for fuck sake, give him Oxy.

R6, I was only off by 1. Whenever I see a BRF post I guess before opening it how many replies we would get before the inevitable MDS post. I guessed 7!
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 18, 2025 10:30 PM |
I would feel badly for him if he weren’t an utter cunt. But he is one.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 18, 2025 10:31 PM |
I don’t know, R2…. because a few months ago UK papers were saying he would die “with cancer” but not “from cancer.”
😵💫
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 18, 2025 10:31 PM |
If he were that close to death, William and Kate wouldn't be bothering to renovate a new home on the Windsor estate...they would just wait it out and move into Windsor Castle itself. Their moving tells me Charles is expected to live for quite a while, albeit with cancer. I have friends who have lived for years with cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 18, 2025 10:35 PM |
Charles the Brief is smug and thinks he’s better than all of us, but I can’t help but pity him. He’s had terrible luck.
The BRF is a shambles and he had to wait such a long time to inherit the throne.

Thank you for updating us on your expectations and their satisfaction! Can you promise to do this in future on all similar threads? Is that a commitment you can make?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 18, 2025 10:37 PM |
I’ll be happy to, MDS boy at r20! Far more interesting than expressions of deranged hatred for someone you’ve never met and whom has no effect on your life whatsoever.

Older men often live for years with prostate cancer r23. They most often die of other causes.

Well, to be fair, he is King.
I suppose there are a few families who might look down on the Windsors, but just the few.

[quote] But sources say he was "putting a very brave face on his pain" in the snaps.
He's an amazing actor then. Honestly this is the healthiest he's looked in ages.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | August 19, 2025 9:06 PM |
1) Charles has used walking sticks when in the country for ages...here he is in 2006.
2) It's known at this point that Charles (according to the Palace) is "living with cancer," meaning it's not curable but treatable.
3) The word in [mostly gay] gossip vines in London for some time has been that the King has a form of lymphoma with a secondary cancer in his bladder. The latter allegedly has been dealt with, the former is a treatment for the rest of his life situation.
4) He will die with cancer but he may not die of cancer. Given the fact he's been able to continue most of his public duties and even gone to Australia and Canada in the last year, I don't think he's not yet knocking at death's door.
5) Prince Philip allegedly lived with cancer for the last decade of his life. Queen Elizabeth II allegedly had bone cancer for the last three or four years of her life.

That has NOT been determined. His cancer is not curable but it is treatable. He will die with cancer not from it.

Again a thread where the UK kkklan grannies are more engaged in low class scrapping than discussing facts.

My assumption is that William and Kate are collecting multiple homes so that Charlotte and the younger son each have individual homes at Windsor Park, etc.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 20, 2025 5:32 AM |
Means higher taxes. I hope Scotland separates.
Now I will be FFed by the UK Giant Granny Panties brigade. They only come here for the Royals threads and don't even know it's a gay site.

Why would anyone with cash and access to a decent health system need to use alcohol to dull cancer pain? As any heroin addict will tell you, morphine is a lot more efficient at pain reduction than alcohol, and some variant of morphine is what they will give you for cancer pain if nothing else works.
You might develop a drinking problem from worrying about having cancer, but doctors would never allow a patient like him to need to self-medicate. (Not even for anxiety, if he told them about it.)
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 20, 2025 1:16 PM |
You get morphine at the very end. Doctors aren't writing yearly prescriptions for morphine.

Tradition. And patriotism.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 20, 2025 1:25 PM |
You get what you need to be kept pain-free, R43. I said "if nothing else works". Opioids will usually do the job for a while, depending on the type of cancer.
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 20, 2025 1:35 PM |
I'm pretty sure he has access to much better, more effective, and less toxic drugs than "whiskey."
This has got to be one of the most ludicrous gossip posts I've ever seen in my life. Next they'll claim Camilla's running a meth lab out of Highgrove.
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 20, 2025 2:09 PM |
He has always been a whisky drinker, so this news is kind of silly.
After he hosted a hunt, Charles wanted a 3 minute egg and a dram of warm whisky to be placed in front of him the instant he sat in front of the sitting room fire before he took his bath. So after one of his manservants rang to warn the kitchen that HRH was on his way, the cooks would have 3 pots on a rolling boil and would place a fresh egg into a saucepan every minute until he reached the front door (one assumes the staff got to scarf down the extra eggs?)
I thought that was the cosiest thing I ever heard and also one of the most ridiculous.
He denied it, of course.

You don't know what has been determined. You're relying on the Palace being truthful, which has not always been the case. Radar is making a claim based on their sources. It may of not be true, but it's not implausible.
