Hillary Clinton praises Trump’s foreign policy

I guess the Congressional Epstein trials have her spooked.

by Anonymousreply 126August 21, 2025 3:25 AM

Et tu, Hillary??

by Anonymousreply 1August 18, 2025 3:02 AM

She never got the message to go away.

by Anonymousreply 2August 18, 2025 3:04 AM

AI, baby!

by Anonymousreply 3August 18, 2025 3:11 AM

She was diddling children too?

by Anonymousreply 4August 18, 2025 4:01 AM

I wonder what her fangirls at DL will think about this. She’s always been super corrupt with zero principles, but that never stopped her fangirls cheering her on.

by Anonymousreply 5August 18, 2025 4:11 AM

Has dementia come a callin' Hilary?

by Anonymousreply 6August 18, 2025 4:16 AM

R4, she’s being subpoenaed with Bill over his flights to the Epstein island. Of course the entire thing will be a sideshow but it seems everyone wants to suck up to Trump to get out of jams now.

by Anonymousreply 7August 18, 2025 4:43 AM

All you have to do is praise Trump and he’ll do whatever you want.

by Anonymousreply 8August 18, 2025 4:43 AM

Man, she’s had a lot of work done. Helps her look like even more of a corrupt phony.

by Anonymousreply 9August 18, 2025 4:45 AM

Now here’s a woman who will do pretty much anything to protect her sleazy husband.

by Anonymousreply 10August 18, 2025 4:47 AM

I’m actually encouraged 🤡

by Anonymousreply 11August 18, 2025 4:53 AM

I am experiencing some morbid curiosity to see just how far she’ll go to protect Bill. Because that was my first thought as to what she was doing too.

But it won’t work. Repubs are using Bill to protect themselves.

by Anonymousreply 12August 18, 2025 4:56 AM

Wasn't she selling baby livers in the back of a pizzeria?

by Anonymousreply 13August 18, 2025 5:03 AM

Fuck you, Hillary.

by Anonymousreply 14August 18, 2025 5:22 AM

You will never be disappointed if you assume politicians are in it for themselves, and everyone else is merely a tool to that end.

by Anonymousreply 15August 18, 2025 5:39 AM

She voted for the second gulf war despite representing a state that would never have punished her for opposing it. Her national political viability mattered more than being right. It was nice to see her lose the democratic nomination to a candidate who who opposed the war. She’s always been a technocrat with limited experience and questionable judgment.

by Anonymousreply 16August 18, 2025 5:52 AM

Such a shame that Bill didn’t have enough pragmatism to stay away from Oval Office blow-jobs, men of highly questionable moral character, & whores.

He played right into the hands of those who wanted to bury him & his wife.

by Anonymousreply 17August 18, 2025 6:16 AM

First of all Hill looks stunning. I’m mixed about this. Bill’s relations with those girls is all speculation at this point. I believe there to be numerous powerful guys who went there to have sex with teenage girls. But until we see the list, we will never truly know. I hate to tarnish someone’s legacy with something o serious like pedophilia from mere speculation. A mentally ill woman accused Jay-Z of raping her with the most absurd story that if you actually listen to her details you would have likely conclude this shit was fradulent. And then a month later she admitted she lied. People on DL painted him guilty when NBC News first broke the story. Yall weren’t playing no games lol. Of course black rapper— GUILTY.

She may be genuine; I just don’t see how Trump has had any positive effect on foreign in any capacity. But I’m not as knowledgeable as Hill, and was never Secretary of State. Either way I don’t blame her. Bill is the love of her life. She is going to do what she needs to do to protect that man-her husband, the father of her child.

by Anonymousreply 18August 18, 2025 6:29 AM

So Tammy Wynette was right, after all?

by Anonymousreply 19August 18, 2025 6:36 AM

She had to have just watched him fellating Putin, why on Earth would she be praising him over anything!? Trump has no foreign policy except selling the country out to the highest bidder.

by Anonymousreply 20August 18, 2025 6:41 AM

God, this cunt again?

by Anonymousreply 21August 18, 2025 6:41 AM

Never liked her, BUT if you actually watch the clip, she doesn't praise Trump at all. What she says is that in this second term there seems to be more willingness between the US administration and European allies to find common ground.

by Anonymousreply 22August 18, 2025 6:43 AM
Bill is the love of her life. She is going to do what she needs to do to protect that man-her husband, the father of her child.

R18 Perhaps, but there’s also the issue of “Spousal Privilege,” which states that a spouse cannot be compelled to testify against their spouse in criminal and civil trials.

The Clintons are nothing if not shrewd.

R18, you are ridiculous. My 7 year old niece is more common sense than you do. You are pathetically gullible.

by Anonymousreply 24August 18, 2025 9:04 AM
What she says is that in this second term there seems to be more willingness between the US administration and European allies to find common ground.

She's a fool. trump doesn't care about anything but HIMSELF. He's only doing this to switch the focus off of the epstein files

by Anonymousreply 25August 18, 2025 9:07 AM

If he says it’s 12AM when it is 12AM you look insane denying it, Typical insanity that if you’re only against Trump 99% instead of 100% of the time you’re a MAGA or a dupe.

by Anonymousreply 26August 18, 2025 9:34 AM

She was always up to some corrupt shit. There was always a new scandal coming out about her. It’s just that she’s very smart and was able to carefully cover her tracks, unlike Dump.

by Anonymousreply 27August 18, 2025 10:20 AM

R18 “Love of her life”

Oh, my sides!

by Anonymousreply 28August 18, 2025 1:00 PM

You're all still trashing Hillary.

You assholes learned NOTHING from 2016.

by Anonymousreply 29August 18, 2025 1:04 PM

You’ve leather nothing since the early 50s.

by Anonymousreply 30August 18, 2025 1:07 PM

All she said was that if Trump negotiated a peace deal that kept Ukraine intact and independent, including its current government, then she would nominate Trump for a Nobel peace prize. She knows this is unlikely to happen but would support it if it happens.

by Anonymousreply 31August 18, 2025 1:18 PM

i'm confused

by Anonymousreply 32August 18, 2025 1:27 PM

Exactly, R31.

HRC knows that the racist, sexist, irresponsible imbecile is completely inept at brokering any sort of diplomatic breakthrough.

by Anonymousreply 33August 18, 2025 1:27 PM

Hillary is damned if she does, damned if she doesn't (as the responses make clear).

by Anonymousreply 34August 18, 2025 1:29 PM

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The Clintons are the worst thing ever to happen to the Democratic party. And don't give me the "at the time..." blaah blaah blaah... Because they have been a rallying cry/easy target for republicans for decades now. And it's not hard to see why.

by Anonymousreply 35August 18, 2025 1:29 PM

So why not say nothing at all?

Hilary wants to nominate trump for a Nobel Peace Prize? This is all you got Hillary?

Raskin is good friends with Boebert? Say it aint so, Jamie!

The space between Democrats and Republicans is getting narrower and narrower. I don't get it. But the Democrats should think about the fact that us Democrats that vote are fucking fed up. I'm starting to think they don't care. I'm not sure I do, anymore.

by Anonymousreply 36August 18, 2025 1:38 PM
The space between Democrats and Republicans is getting narrower and narrower.

The space between Democrats and Republicans is the furthest it's ever been in my lifetime.

by Anonymousreply 37August 18, 2025 1:48 PM

Both of the Clintons are tremendous liabilities to the Democratic Party and need to be cast off from it immediately and forever.

Bad enough Bill couldn't keep his dick in his pants his entire life, but they're both responsible for MAGA. They both actively campaigned for NAFTA, knowing full well it would destroy what was left of manufacturing in this country. But they desperately wanted that big Wall Street money so they worked tirelessly to see NAFTA through. They're now multi-millionaires, while places like Youngstown, Ohio, Wheeling, WV and numerous other places in the Rust Belt have been completely destroyed.

And then they and other Democrats, wonder why once reliably blue states like OH and WV are now solidly red.

by Anonymousreply 38August 18, 2025 1:56 PM
They both actively campaigned for NAFTA,

But what is your solution? The Clintons should have opposed sensible policy based on the speculation that a bunch of ignorant people would establish a backlash against it?

First of all, I would not be at all confident that Trump wouldn't have won without NAFTA; (The Republic Party remained sensibly free trade for decades after NAFTA's enactment.) Second, what good does it do if Democrats enact Republican policies themselves just to avoid a reaction? I'm very glad Clinton didn't enact stupid republican policies just out of fear of a backlash

"She won the popular vote."

Fuck that. Hate her - always have. Bye, dumbass.

by Anonymousreply 44August 18, 2025 2:20 PM

R43, this is literally what you posted.
They're now multi-millionaires, while places like Youngstown, Ohio, Wheeling, WV and numerous other places in the Rust Belt have been completely destroyed.

You're implying that the Rust Belt was destroyed by NAFTA which is not true. Those jobs were moving to the South as early as the 70s.

by Anonymousreply 45August 18, 2025 2:26 PM

I feel like this is going to make Cheeto rethink how he's actually dealing with other leaders, because if she's happy, he must be doing something wrong.

by Anonymousreply 46August 18, 2025 2:28 PM

Regarding the source OP posted....
The site covers political, economic, foreign affairs and environmental issues. MintPress News supported former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, and supports the governments of Russia and Iran. It opposes the governments of Israel and Saudi Arabia, and reports geopolitical events from an anti-Western perspective.

by Anonymousreply 47August 18, 2025 2:31 PM
You're all still trashing Hillary. You assholes learned NOTHING from 2016.

There’s a reason she lost in 2016. Almost everybody hated her. People hated Trump too. People voted for the one they thought was less awful.

by Anonymousreply 48August 18, 2025 2:55 PM

Is this even real? I google the headline and all I get is stories from 2016 and one mention of the statement she made last week saying that should Trump manage to end the war in Ukraine with Ukraine being maintained with its pre-war boundaries and Zelenskyy in charge — essentially, the Ukrainian goals of the war — she would nominate Trump for the Nobel herself, knowing that this outcome has about a 1 in a billion chance of happening (and if it actually did happen, she probably would make good on her word).

Somehow, given the source, not to mention the claim, unless someone can point me to a credible news source I'm assuming that this is fake news designed to elicit the exact responses we're seeing here. And never mind the fact that Bill Clinton has said, for years, to release the Epstein files [italic]in full.[/italic] Would a man with his background be willing to say, on the record, that the files should be released if he were shown to have participated in the Epstein/Trump/GOP pedo ring? I suppose this is more of the Clinton double-jujitsu you all claim they surgically wield.

by Anonymousreply 49August 18, 2025 2:55 PM

R45: read the sentence immediately BEFORE the one you cite:

"They both actively campaigned for NAFTA, knowing full well IT WOULD DESTROY WHAT WAS LEFT OF MANUFACTURING IN THIS COUNTRY."

Does your mother have to hold your dick for you when you pee?

by Anonymousreply 50August 18, 2025 2:55 PM
Bad enough Bill couldn't keep his dick in his pants his entire life, but they're both responsible for MAGA.

MAGA was more of a response to Obama, especially his love of all things Muslim.

by Anonymousreply 51August 18, 2025 2:58 PM

R50. I don't think you are getting the traction you want. Best to give up.

The idea that preserving protectionist policies would have left Youngstown, etc. as vibrant communities is a joke.

by Anonymousreply 52August 18, 2025 2:59 PM
Both of the Clintons are tremendous liabilities to the Democratic Party and need to be cast off from it immediately and forever.

They have that Boomer mentality and will never step out of the spotlight until they’re dead.

by Anonymousreply 53August 18, 2025 3:00 PM

Then your paragraph is even more nonsensical than I thought. There is plenty of manufacturing left in America.

The same ones who called Hillary "entitled" when old man independent refused to concede when he lost the primaries.

FUCK YOU BERNIE BROS, WE GOT 8 YEARS OF TRUMP BECAUSE OF YOU.

by Anonymousreply 64August 18, 2025 5:59 PM

A lot of us voted for her in 2016 and would have voted for her a thousand times over in a contest with Trump. Nonetheless, we aren’t blind to what a mediocrity she is. Which is not a huge indictment. In most presidential elections we’ve been lucky even to have a mediocrity in the race.

by Anonymousreply 67August 18, 2025 6:08 PM

Her time was in 2008. She should have never run in 2016. Her campaign also worked hard to legitimize Trump and boost his chances of becoming the R nominee.

by Anonymousreply 68August 18, 2025 6:14 PM

How sad. The Hillbottoms are still screaming about "Bernie Bros" in fucking 2025.

by Anonymousreply 73August 18, 2025 6:47 PM

R65. I did vote for her but only because she was running against Satan. She was, to me, the lesser of two evils.

by Anonymousreply 74August 18, 2025 6:53 PM

R73. Thank you for echoing my original post almost word for word.

by Anonymousreply 75August 18, 2025 6:54 PM

So Hills is now a DEEplorable herself...

Big shocker there.

by Anonymousreply 76August 18, 2025 6:56 PM

R73 Except for the comment about American idol, of course, which is stupid. If anybody ran as a celebrity, it was here. She was relying on her status as First Lady while her own accomplishments, especially in 2008, were minimal.

by Anonymousreply 77August 18, 2025 6:56 PM
Her time was in 2008. She should have never run in 2016

Except 2008 wasn't her time either. Obama was running in that year and vastly outclassed her. Thank god, he won. As a result we had a reasonable measure of health care reform, one of the most important achievements of the last 30 or 40 years, one that she had previously failed to accomplish and probably would have failed to accomplish again.

by Anonymousreply 78August 18, 2025 6:58 PM

"If anybody ran as a celebrity, it was here."

by Anonymousreply 80August 18, 2025 7:06 PM
So the former game show host/professional fame whore/relentless publicity hound wasn't posing as a celebrity?

No. Nothing in my post suggested that. It's futile since I know from experience that a certain level of intellect here perceives any comment on the shortcomings of a Democratic politician as a raving Trump endorsement, but my original post literally said that I would have voted for her a thousand times over Trump despite her mediocrity. That then generates two replies informing me that Trump was much worse than Clinton. There's really only so much one can do to counter stupidity.

by Anonymousreply 81August 18, 2025 7:07 PM
As what, [R78], First Lady? At least she tried. I know she doesn't measure up to Melania's accomplishments, but still...

Melania Trump is not running for President and is not eligible to run for president by virtue of her foreign birth. If she could run for president, I would find it absurd and objectionable.

by Anonymousreply 82August 18, 2025 7:11 PM

Well, r82, why did you expect her to deal with health reform as First Lady? She tried even though it wasn't her place and then got lambasted for it "not being her place".

by Anonymousreply 83August 18, 2025 7:17 PM

I did not expect her to and did not want her to. It's not her place as the relative of a president. But, let's set that aside, and say it was perfectly fine for her to take that on. Are we then not allowed to judge her based on the result? Essentially, you're saying she did something she arguably shouldn't have been doing and failed at it so let's give her the presidency as a participation award because she tried.

by Anonymousreply 84August 18, 2025 7:21 PM
I did not expect her to and did not want her to. It's not her place as the relative of a president.

You can't have it both ways, r84.
As a result we had a reasonable measure of health care reform, one of the most important achievements of the last 30 or 40 years, one that she had previously failed to accomplish and probably would have failed to accomplish again.

by Anonymousreply 88August 18, 2025 7:27 PM

My favorite anti-Hillary post on DL was someone saying "My friend worked with her and said that she just sensed she was dark and wouldn't be surprised if she killed someone". That's the Hillary hate in a nutshell--it's all about "vibes", not really anything rooted in reality.

by Anonymousreply 97August 19, 2025 3:35 PM

by Anonymousreply 98August 19, 2025 3:47 PM
That's the Hillary hate in a nutshell--it's all about "vibes",

She’s a politician. Vibes are the most important thing for being elected. A major fault of Democrats in 2016 on the way to nominating her was focusing on her resume and ignoring her vibe problem.

by Anonymousreply 99August 19, 2025 3:49 PM

Her resume was heavy on the scandals but short on actual accomplishments.

by Anonymousreply 100August 19, 2025 3:54 PM

"Vibes are the most important thing for being elected."

Which is exactly why we have a violence prone convicted felon/pathological liar/sexual predator/probable child rapist/con artist/grifter as POTUS. As someone earlier said, you're voting into office the person who will be one of the most powerful people in the world, NOT THE GOD DAMNED PROM KING/QUEEN.

77 million American assholes let their "vibes" vote for this dirtball scumbag, because, in 2024, just as in 2016, the infinitely more qualified candidate who happened to be a female was giving off "snotty, catty, I'm better than you" vibes.

Now look at the mess you've gotten us into, R99. Fuck you and your "vibes."

by Anonymousreply 101August 19, 2025 4:11 PM

R78 Don’t forget bailing out the banks and allowing Republicans to act out in every way because of “compromise” including stonewalling a Supreme Court Pick. The era had its good points and mistakes like every other President. But Trump exploited those mistakes to his benefit. .

The Obamas post presidency has been one of the most disappointing by far though.

by Anonymousreply 102August 19, 2025 5:02 PM

After watching the pathetic way Biden clung on to the Presidency, you’re reminded of what a class act Hillary has been In conceding defeat twice. Joe could learn a thing about dignity from Clinton. You didn’t see Chelsea airing out every petty grievance in public now did you? Hillary didn’t wallow in self pity either.

by Anonymousreply 103August 19, 2025 5:05 PM
Don’t forget bailing out the banks

So you wanted the banks all to collapse? Btw, the banks had to pay back loans as part of the bailouts.

by Anonymousreply 105August 19, 2025 5:08 PM

How about bailing out the homeowners as well? How many people lost homes and never recovered during the crisis?

by Anonymousreply 106August 19, 2025 5:26 PM

How many people bought homes at over-inflated prices, with dangerously shaky financing (0 money down, adjustable interest rates with artificially low initial payments, 100% financing) then wanted a bail out when the bottom fell out? Or, who simply walked away.

How many people are still doing this and getting in over their heads, simply because greedy, sleazy RE agents and developers want the gravy train to keep running?

Hillary is the last liberal Republican.

by Anonymousreply 108August 19, 2025 8:22 PM
Which is exactly why we have a violence prone convicted felon/pathological liar/sexual predator/probable child rapist/con artist/grifter as POTUS. As someone earlier said, you're voting into office the person who will be one of the most powerful people in the world, NOT THE GOD DAMNED PROM KING/QUEEN.

Get off of it. You're so tiresome and your infantile view of politics is part of the state we are in,

A lot of us voted for Hillary Clinton and would vote for her a thousand times over Trump. That doesn't change the fact that some people are uniquely gifted in politics and Hillary Clinton definitely was not. And a lot of that gift has to do with the image they project. That's one reason why Jimmy Carter was not FDR and why Gordon Brown wasn't Churchill. Nobody is looking to elect a prom king. That's your moronic obsession. We are hoping for an inspiring letter. And, yes, in default of one we will willingly vote for Hillary Clinton.

by Anonymousreply 109August 19, 2025 9:23 PM

R92, we voted for Hillary. Did we like her? not really, but we still voted for her. You seem to have the mentality of a 10 year old who can't understand how you can support for someone and not like them. The truth hurts you. We're not going to sit here and lie and say she was fabulous. She wasn't. You and most of the democratic party's wearing rose colored sunglasses is why trump won election TWICE. Keep sticking your head in the sand, instead of taking an honest look at the party and admitting there's LOTS of problems and fixing the problems, so that more people will vote for them. Their entire strategy is "ooooh, maybe we'll get control of something if the republicans make a lot of mistakes". And their campaign strategy for the past 25 years has been to cross their fingers and hope there's a bigger turn out than ever and that more people voted for them. That's it. God damn, that is PATHETIC

She actually lost to donald, fucking, trump. A liar, huckster, thief, rapist, pedophile, and one of the worst people in the entire world. . And she LOST to him. You have to be a real idiot to lose to someone like that.

by Anonymousreply 110August 19, 2025 10:16 PM

She won the popular vote.

Hillary is not the problem. She's a very moral and ethical person. Republicans hate her because she's unapologetic, bright and incredibly sexy.

by Anonymousreply 111August 19, 2025 11:02 PM

She had bad vibes. And cankles.

by Anonymousreply 112August 19, 2025 11:18 PM

"And a lot of that gift has to do with the image they project"

That's how Dubya got elected, because he projected the image of "the guy you want to have a beer with, unlike stuffy old Al Gore.

That's how Dubya's image enhancing PR stunt in 2003, "Mission Accomplished" did absolutely nothing but prolong a war that shouldn't have been started in the first place because it was based on a lie.

That's how jackass Trump keeps his MAGA cultists enthralled, by projecting a faux image of a tough guy, consummate businessman, strategic negotiator, brave and fearless fighter for the ordinary guy. The ugly reality is he's a gutless, spineless coward who is deathly afraid of dogs and germs and is probably up to eyeballs in debt to Vladimir Putin.

Image should only be a small part of a politician's reputation. Insisting that "image is everything" is why we get clowns like Trump in office. Image is why we get an idiot like George W. Bush in office who was asleep at the wheel on 9/11/2001, allowed people to die in New Orleans during Katrina in 2005 (heck of a job, Brownie) and whose handling of the economy collapsed the banking industry in 2008.

I would imagine if FDR was around in November of 2024 and running for President, image consultants and "experts" like R209 would paint him as a sick and inform weakling completely incapable of running for office, much less running the entire nation.

by Anonymousreply 113August 19, 2025 11:46 PM

Since I am here,I can inform you that I would not, but thank you for your mindless speculation!

by Anonymousreply 114August 20, 2025 12:15 AM

And, by the way, Clinton supported the second gulf war while her more charismatic opponent, Obama, did not. So, her charisma void, didn't really buy us much.

by Anonymousreply 115August 20, 2025 12:17 AM

Biden supported the Iraq War as well

by Anonymousreply 116August 20, 2025 12:20 AM

I think that is pretty well known.

by Anonymousreply 117August 20, 2025 1:36 AM

[italic]Vaulting ambition, which o'erleaps itself[/italic] has led to Hillary Clinton’s now complete collapse.

Let's blame Hillary Clinton for the USA's descent into fascism with the Dump. P

That’s fair.
And cankles.

Trump has cankles too. What's your point?

by Anonymousreply 121August 20, 2025 6:06 AM

R113. Your understanding of what Clinton was lacking is infantile. What she lacked was the ability to inspire people through public speaking and to persuade other politicians of her vision. I couldn't care less whether anybody wants to have a beer with her or not. In my lifetime there have been three inspiring politicians: Reagan, Bill Clinton, and Obama. Reagan and Obama were not presidents that people wanted to have a beer with. They were both somewhat aloof from the pubic. But they commanded respect and could inspire people to follow their vision. Hillary Clinton, like most presidents, could not.

by Anonymousreply 122August 20, 2025 7:31 AM
They were both somewhat aloof from the pubic.

Bill Clinton was right up in the pubic.

by Anonymousreply 123August 20, 2025 10:08 AM

You silly queens didn't bother to watch the whole video and are trashing her based on the title. She actually did not praise Trump. But go ahead and trash her since that's how we got Trump in the first place. And no I am not some Hillary fan, just pointing out how quick some are to jump on the circular firing squad.

by Anonymousreply 124August 20, 2025 10:14 AM

I hate always being right.

by Anonymousreply 125August 21, 2025 3:19 AM

Too bad you haven't accomplished anything in 30 years of government employment always being right Bernie.
