My mother who is 88 with mild dementia asks me for the Penny Saver all of the time. She can’t comprehend that because of the internet there is no use for it. Not to mention you can look up anything on your phone. She will NEVER understand what an APP is. ……… Speaking of Apps - in the early 2000 on a cooking message board there was a woman whose fiancé created an App and she was thrilled that he was going to sell it and they were going to be rich. I didn’t really understand what an App was - let alone how it would make you rich. I have often wondered what happened to that woman and if they got married and got rich ….

Making Jiffy Pop on a stovetop was not unlike those pizza mixes in a box. The results were never very good, but it was sot of fun to do. And both Jiffy Pop in the aluminum pan and Chef Boy Ar Dee pizza mix are still sold, for people who enjoy dong things the way we used to do them when there were only three television networks and no Internet.
