Do you know why I would vote for Mamdani if I were a New Yorker?

He is *always* beautifully dressed. He never looks less than impeccable. When he wants to look casual, he just takes his tie off. It's total professionalism and it says he takes his work seriously but he still looks elegant.

I am so tired of seeing politicians who look like their entire wardrobe comes from Kohl's because they think they'll be more "relatable" that way (I'm looking at you, Pete Buttigieg).

It's especially surprising given that hardly any men in their 30s wear jackets anymore except at weddings.

No one cares.

LOL

It's marginally less superficial than b/c you think he's hung.

What's with his voice? He has a little kid voice, much like AOC. There's no power in it.

he hasn't experience and no solutions on offer

I'm moving before this disaster occurs. He's not gonna sleep with you shallow gays.

The City is already circling the drain, he will be the final flush.

I don’t care how well a commie is dressed. He is still a commie preying on the willfully ignorant.

I imagine Mamdani will find a way to add MORE crack-smoking bums to the streets!

by Anonymousreply 9August 15, 2025 4:17 AM

I'd definitely vote for him. People forget that no matter how unusual a candidate's proposals are they all tend to move to the center in order to govern. (Except Trump who is a total POS.) I look for someone with fresh ideas and a commitment to making things better for people. I also don't trust the Media anymore. They focus on personalities and expect us to panic and be scared, and they love division and controversy. But honestly if that pigfucker Andrew Cuomo wins, or if Adams wins it will be a total shit mess. They offer nothing new and both of them are disgusting each in their own way.

He's not hot (I roll my eyes when people claim that) but he's undeniably cute, and yes, a great dresser. Also has a killer smile. Would totally do.

It's shocking to me that he's the lightning rod of controversy in a race that includes both Eric Adams and Andrew Cuomo.

Well, maybe not shocking given the times we live in. But glaringly stupid for sure.

This city will eat that amateur alive if he is voted in. As soon as the first crisis happens, the regret will follow...
