Vance claims to want the same thing, however, he has hitched his wagon to an administration that is proven to be against the average American family, just by recognizing & analyzing their destructive policy.

Why on earth would a very bright, talented, promising young man switch & indulge in cronyism with persons who do not value these political points?

Why would any true & decent Catholic, want this?

My father’s family are Catholic, & while I’m an atheist, I recall that Catholics in general, minus the kiddy diddlers, are generally REALLY GOOD & DECENT people, who lend a helping hand to all, regardless of their political affiliation or political ideology. I have always said that if I were to turn religious again? I won’t. I’d become a Catholic, because I still vividly recall how truly engaged the Catholic Church, was intrinsically involved in our Latino community, in NYC.

Where are Vance’s values? Do they truly align with the values of the Pope, & the mission statement of the Catholic Church, here in the United States?

I do NOT believe his stated values align with that of the Church. I believe he doesn’t genuinely care about ministry towards the poor & downtrodden. If he were a TRUE Catholic? He would call bullshit on ALL that is happening in this current administration.

I'm an American and I don't think I've seen this clapping phenomenon in over 50 years of flying.

I’ve seen and heard way, way too much of it over 60 years of flying, R137.

Clapping is usually reserved for when it’s a flight originating in a foreign country and landing in the U.S,, or a flight that had experienced some kind of trouble.

I have been on a lot of flights from Montreal to Rome, Athens, Barcelona, etc. where the warm-blooded, passionate Southern Europeans applauded when the plane landed. I thought it was more a Euro thing than Hillbilly.

I was on an Alaska flight from Seattle to Victoria that took off in a storm, with the worst turbulence ever all the way there. I thought we were going to die. People were crying!

When it landed, people clapped out of a sense of relief and gratitude, and as it was a small prop plane, the pilots were able to hear it. That’s the only time I’ve observed the phenomenon, though, and I imagine most of the passengers were Canadian, and from Victoria, which tells you how bad the conditions were if it got even our reserved asses applauding.
