Why's it so FUCKING hard to delete a song from my Amazon music library?

I used to be able to find the song in my liberry and click on the 3 dots and select "Remove." Where did that go? Am I the crazy one?

Would you happen to have access to Google, OP?

by Anonymousreply 1August 13, 2025 12:02 PM

R1 The information that I've found is outdated. Also, why the fuck should I have to look it up on Google?

I just removed a song from mine. Go to the list of songs in your playlist and hit the three dots to the right of the song. You’ll see the “remove from playlist” option there.

Thanks. I read that only removes the song from the playlist--NOT the library. There used to be a specific option to remove from the library.

Then run the search again but add "2025" to it.

There is no way to delete bought movies from it !

I use Amazon music as well and I hate how they keep changing the app. I always have trouble adding or removing songs.

Did life get better, OP/r2? Feeling ok?

by Anonymousreply 9August 14, 2025 2:42 AM

Nope. Still haven't figured it out.

R5 Tried that already. But thanks.

R8 Yeah, when I first joined Prime years ago, it was pretty straightforward. Then, in the last maybe 5years, there was a redesign that fucked it all up for me. Now, it fully caters to your algorithms, and you have to SEARCH for any new releases when they used to be listed on the homepage. Not user-friendly

I've found so many posts on various pages from people asking how to delete songs. Despite the flippant responses here (not unexpected), this appears to be a common issue.

What did you buy, Avatar: The Last Airbender or Pearl Harbour?
