I suppose if you're wearing a diamond that size you never have to do anything meaningful with your hands (during the daytime), but where the weight of it does confound me a bit is how you would stop the diamond from falling to the underside of your hand all the time, like a watch with a too-big band. There is nothing to counterbalance it. (Unless, of course, it's so big the gap between your fingers isn't enough near the knuckle.)
