FAT WHORES REJOICE!!!

Who even eats there?
by Anonymous | reply 1 | August 9, 2025 7:24 PM |
This is some of the best news I've heard all week. It's the little things!
by Anonymous | reply 2 | August 9, 2025 8:52 PM |
How nice. How nice for us all.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | August 9, 2025 8:54 PM |
I am so there!!! I'm getting a 12 piece bucket (original recipe, all dark meat, please) and 3 orders of the wedges.
I should be able to get at least two meals out of this feast.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | August 9, 2025 9:09 PM |
They're "gifting" influencers with a potato?
by Anonymous | reply 5 | August 9, 2025 9:20 PM |
It's very easy to make potato wedges at home in the oven. Wash potatoes, cut into wedges, mix them with seasoning in a bowl (or use plastic bag and shake, shake, shake), add olive oil and toss, put on tray, and bake. Takes no time at all.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | August 9, 2025 9:54 PM |
Make potato wedges in the oven? What is this, Afghanistan? I’m an American and I went my potato wedges instantly served to me with zero effort.
by Anonymous | reply 8 | August 9, 2025 9:58 PM |
i prefer the publix deli wedges...cheaper and tastier!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | August 9, 2025 10:02 PM |
The wedges were their big draw. Idiots made a terrible choice, and sales have plummeted. They need to bring them back, and the other fast food restaurants better get it that their 90s versions were far more superior to today's overpriced crap.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | August 9, 2025 11:34 PM |
Speaking of KFC, does anyone remember KFC Rotisserie Gold Chicken, circa 1995?
Moist and delicious and as addictive as meth or crack.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | August 10, 2025 12:01 AM |
R11 Potato wedges aren't the reason people are staying away from KFC.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | August 10, 2025 12:34 AM |
This shit covered by SNAP as well?
by Anonymous | reply 14 | August 10, 2025 12:37 AM |
R14 No, Donald, restaurant food is not eligible for SNAP.
Maybe ask your gardener's wife to explain Food Stamps to you again.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | August 10, 2025 12:40 AM |
It’s apart of the reason, R13.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | August 10, 2025 1:07 AM |
R7, what do you mean no time at all? Probably takes 45 min, baked potatoes take forever
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 10, 2025 1:10 AM |
R16 You're right. It really is "apart," as in totally unrelated.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | August 10, 2025 1:11 AM |
Sales dropped considerably after the wedges were taken off the market, R18.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 10, 2025 1:30 AM |
R19 They took wedges out of stores in the first half of 2020. You know, when the whole fucking planet was buried in a pandemic and nobody was eating out?
Of course KFC's sales dropped that year.
Do you have any actual data on sales figures, and any hint at a correlation between company revenues and the presence or absence of these wedges? Or are you just counting your own pennies, you fat whore?!?!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 10, 2025 2:50 AM |
The sales dropped, R20, when they removed the wedges.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | August 10, 2025 2:34 PM |
I haven't had KFC in years. I do remember that they had the best cole slaw and the best biscuits and my mother loved their chicken pot pies. We'd get a bucket of extra crispy with sides. The mashed potatoes were great. As a kid I couldn't get enough of them. And no, I am not fat. Never had the wedges. Haven't had any KFC since 2009. Since I moved from the Midwest to Georgia, there's fried chicken in every market and on every corner. Seriously. If you want a taco or a piece of fried chicken they're on every fucking corner. But not much KFC.

R15 All sorts of fast food in California accept EBT cards.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | August 10, 2025 3:16 PM |
I don’t know. There are reports saying this is some kind of hoax.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | August 11, 2025 4:26 PM |
Down South, we call those things potato logs.
Often found as a side at the meat-and-threes.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | August 11, 2025 4:33 PM |
Skid marks dropped, when they removed the wedges.
FIFY
by Anonymous | reply 26 | August 11, 2025 4:51 PM |
My local grocery store also makes these fresh and are delicious. You can get a lot of them for under $3. They're usually with the rotisserie chickens around the lunch hour.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | August 11, 2025 4:55 PM |
I wonder if KFC will start suing those grocery stores, R27.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | August 11, 2025 9:29 PM |
I haven't been to KFC since around 2001, but thanks to all of the DL posts about potato wedges, when I saw this Twitter post, I automatically thought of all of the fat whores rejoicing.
Like R27, my grocery store sells wedges, and once or twice a year, I'll get some.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | August 12, 2025 2:05 AM |
I make my own in my air fryer and they come out just fine!
by Anonymous | reply 31 | August 12, 2025 3:36 PM |
There’s like two whole potatoes in that cup.
by Anonymous | reply 33 | August 12, 2025 6:40 PM |
Is there a "crust" on those things? Do they dip them in some kind of coating before they deep fry them?
by Anonymous | reply 34 | August 12, 2025 6:45 PM |
I prefer Church’s
by Anonymous | reply 35 | August 12, 2025 6:46 PM |
[QUOTE] Is there a "crust" on those things? Do they dip them in some kind of coating before they deep fry them?
I don’t know and I don’t care. All I know is that I’m going to buy three boxes and eat one on the drive home.
by Anonymous | reply 36 | August 12, 2025 6:48 PM |
Our prayers have been answered! Praise be!
by Anonymous | reply 37 | August 12, 2025 10:37 PM |
"I prefer Church's."
I was visiting my flyoverland hometown last year. I stopped in at a Church's that I remember being built circa 1969/70.
The place looked like it hadn't been remodeled, much less cleaned, since then. I left without ordering.
by Anonymous | reply 38 | August 12, 2025 10:43 PM |
You should’ve tried the wedges, R38. At least so you could spit them out and declare them inferior to KFC.
by Anonymous | reply 39 | August 13, 2025 4:59 AM |
Taking away those wedges was one of the stupidest decisions by an American business ever. It's right up there with New Coke and at least the Coca-Cola Company had the good sense to repent after that. KFC still hasn't gotten the message. Shitheads.
America has decided. It wants the Wedges Back.
by Anonymous | reply 40 | August 13, 2025 11:25 PM |
I know a thing or two about wedges, and where they belong.
by Anonymous | reply 41 | August 13, 2025 11:26 PM |
"I should be able to get at least two meals out of this feast"
Brunch and lunch, dear?
by Anonymous | reply 42 | August 14, 2025 12:45 AM |
I love wedges
by Anonymous | reply 43 | August 14, 2025 2:56 AM |
It wasnt as much the wedges being taken off the menu as it was their fucking prices have gotten RIDICULOUS.
by Anonymous | reply 44 | August 14, 2025 4:07 AM |
A girl’s gotta eat!
by Anonymous | reply 45 | August 14, 2025 4:12 AM |
Wedges are already back at my KFC.
Or, um, so I’ve heard…
by Anonymous | reply 46 | August 14, 2025 4:49 AM |
Biden promised me an 8 yr democratic president and KFC potato wedges.
And what we get. An orange cunt back from the dead. Weep😞
by Anonymous | reply 47 | August 14, 2025 5:05 AM |
by Anonymous | reply 48 | August 14, 2025 1:04 PM |
Tater lawgs.
by Anonymous | reply 50 | August 14, 2025 6:20 PM |
[QUOTE] Try this out, ya fat hawgs!
Why? I’ll be buying wedges again in four days.
