There is zero chemistry between ADA Turner and sleepy Sonny.

Nothing charismatic or witty about their interactions, not even dangerously sexy, just nothing. "Another Brendabot" is the general consensus on social media. It's just not as off-putting to watch as the Natalia/Sonny pairing because Turner's face isn't contorted with Botox and fillers like Natalia's was.

I send my thanks for today's scene with both shirtless Chase and Michael. More of that is welcome.

R14 Think you're referring to Martina Morales, portrayed by Daya Vaidya. Maurice loved that part of the storyline; he mentioned how much he enjoyed working with Daya. He wanted Sonny and Carly to be over, while hoping for something to develop between Sonny and Martina. Daya mentioned wanting to stay longer as well, but the role was only short-term.

Maybe Sonny could bump into Martina in Europe and then fixate on memories of the great love they never actually shared.

Why introduce a short-term character to sleep with a long-running character if a child isn't intended to emerge at some point? It's like a soapy bank account, am I right?

As for her house, it was a great set but it did border on the ridiculous that a (then) 60-something single woman would be rambling around a house that challenged the Quartermaine estate in size and grandeur. Not to mention, just how rich is Anna anyway? She definitely downsized which makes sense for an elderly person who's never home. But the two roommates and a dog pushes it back into the realm of the ridiculous.

I think they're heading towards Emma and Gio moving out and getting their own place. Clearly they'll need to run an Only Fans site and escort offscreen to pay the rent.

Rory on egomaniac Mo's show today. Mo introduced Rory saying he's made a big splash coming on to GH, like he's never seen before but he doesn't know how long it will last.

No mental health problems. Grew up scared, anxious and poor in a bad neighborhood in Bakersfield. Step-father was in a gang and went to prison. Lived with his mom and two younger half-siblings, he felt a paternal role towards half-siblings. Has an older half brother through his father. Close to both his parents.

Discussed his other career as a Fitness Trainer. Met his fiancee when they were 15 and 16 years old and they've been together ever since. Mo remarked they are the only two on GH who have been with their partner so long and not cheated on each other (dig at Steve?). Rory wants to get married/have kids next summer. Rory said LW has become like his Acting Coach. Mo offered his supreme acting lessons, of course. Rory likes GH better than Y&R because he felt he only played a supporting role on Y&R.

Post Y&R and during the strike, Rory and his finances were really hurting financially and practically homeless. His fiancee's modeling work dried up and they couch surfed for a year. Mo talked about Tyler Christopher being homeless. Mo said Rory will never have to couch surf or be that broke again because he now has GH who will always be there for him because of the way he came in.. Rory says he wasn't fulfilled at Y&R but is fulfilled at GH.

Rory loves donuts and was a chunky kid. Mo loves frozen yogurt especially a place called Go Greek on La Brea. When Mo used to get stoned he would eat entire Boston Cream Pies from Marie Callender's.

It is not a legal matter that the mayor can/should/would be involved. The fact that neither Anna (Chief of Police) nor Laura (Mayor) pointed that out was groan-inducing.

I felt bad for Fiona and Genie in that scene.

Laura should be thinking about the ice raids presumably going on in her city.

After seeing how lousy GH has done with Lulu and Luckys return---I'm getting very nervous about Slezaks appearance. No joke. I'm glad Britt is back, but the way they ruined LuLu in record time doesn't make me optimistic on Britt, long term.

Agree, the addition of the Dalton actor has been another big nothing burger. A little bit of social media buzz when he was cast and now that's fizzled out as they've done nothing with the character. I can't even remember the actor's name...

Britt's return and her big mysterious boss is just a vehicle to appease Burton with a pairing that got him buzz in the past. This story line wasn't planned or thought out, just slapped together last minute.

Frank turned down KT when she appealed to him on her own for a return last year. He's doing it now for Burton. By acquiescing to Burton, he now has to also appease LW and bring back her unemployed boyfriend as Britt's boss especially since Burton hurt LW's feelings by not wanting to be paired with her. But at least we got Liesel back which is a plus even though the "Rocco is my grandson" is a ridiculous stretch of a story.

I had high hopes for NuLulu when Cody first picked her up on the side of the road and she was joking and bantering with him. But severe, perpetually unpleasant Lulu is a huge turn off. Not Aexa's fault.

In conclusion, I predict Peter is back.

Since the 1990s, the soaps wisely injected humor into their shows. Alas, R117 has it right: there's no joy or humor in GH right now. There has to be a balance or watching becomes intolerable. R120. Id say Bobbie's/Kelly's....the skeleton has been the same since at least the early 1990's.

The Quatermaine den dates back to at least the early 90s. That set is not used much anymore; the Q sun room seems to have replaced it. But during the episodes where Danny found Brooklyn's file on Rocco, that occurred in the Q den set.

Sad when one considers the old soaps. Llanfair stayed basically the same for several decades.

Llanfair had a makeover in the late 80s that transformed it's living room and foyer from a feeling like a mansion to feeling like a middle-class suburban house

Even though they updated and reduced it slightly, the Horton set is the oldest set in use in daytime.

Very sad about Tristan. I knew it wasn't going to be long when he mentioned his diagnosis weeks back. In his last episode he was so raspy I thought he might have had esophageal cancer.

Dana Reeve (wife of Christopher) also didn't smoke but died of Lung Cancer. Very scary.

Korte, however, didn't want any connection between Jason and Elizabeth, whom fans love more than Jason with LW's Carly, therefore Jake had to leave town.

Aiden not being a fan favorite anymore, combined with Jonathan requesting a relationship between Lucky and Aiden- he wasn't happy with the "deadbeat dad narrative" that was given to Lucky, played into his exit.

The pregnancy storyline went to Sabrina, when Michael was presumed to be the father before Carlos; there was even a scene where Valerie and Sabrina literally ran into each other and dropped their bags, with one or the other, or both, having pregnancy tests with them.

Today -- no Jason, no Sunny, no Carly! It was heaven! Instead, we get to see really good actors at work, i.e., those playing Alexis, Anna, Ava, and Dante. If only the producers could see what we see -- the potential of a really good show without the horrible three.

Alexis is an accessory after the fact to the kidnapping of Drew, but Drew's the bad guy.

Alexis is out of her mind if she thinks she ever stood a chance to get custody of Scout. A grandmother vs a biological father is already a nearly impossible hurdle to pass, but on top of that Alexis has a walk-in closet of skeletons: alcoholism, mob connections, currently single with three failed marriages behind her, murdered Alcazar then faked insanity to get off, kidnapped her own daughter, implicated in a false rape charge, violated custody order, hit and run manslaughter, hit and run while drunk, bought illegal narcotics from a teenaged dealer, and disbarred.

Drew actually has a point.

Dobson should get custody of scout. Or Denise dimuccio.

I also like Drew and find it nice to have a nice old-school villain who is also a Quartermaine—probably the most Quartermaine of anyone, except Tracey. Ava is one of my favorites on the show. And while she's not as interwoven as say Michael, she's still pretty connected.

Aside from Avery as you mentioned, she's Nina's best girlfriend and Lucas' aunt. She's a constant foil for Alexis, Carly, and now Kristina. I think she's friendly with Curtis and might return to being Ric's squeeze and cohort in crime. She's also Laura's former daughter-in-law.

Age is extremely fluid on these shows. Liz was introduced as 16 in 1996 which would make her about 45 now. When Ava was introduced, she had a nearly adult daughter (Kiki) making her at least mid 30s back in 2013. So she and Liz would be contemporaries. Yet, Liz still looks 20 (amazing genes) and her oldest kid is in college. Meanwhile Ava looks late 40s with a kid who would've been around 30 now (or older to match former BF Michael). Ava frankly looks quite a bit older than than the forever-young Liz.

In the real world, Maura is 53 and Becky is 48. And for the record, Rick Hearst recently turned 60.

Avery needs to be aged up and be a teen trouble maker. Make her Charlotte's age (who also needs to be recast) and have them be friends and both wreaking havoc. Avery needs to turn on Mama Carly and give Sonny hell about his "business". Charlotte needs to be acting out over losing her father and resenting Ace for being the Cassadine heir instead of her or fighting with Rocco. Ace also needs a SORASing, Laura isn't sitting home potty training and her husband is MIA so he isn't on childcare duty either.

Becky's youthfulness is exceptional. Same for Rick.

How big is Laura's apartment? It was always two-stories but it's also in a building with immediate neighbors (when they show us the exterior hall). Right now there's four people living there, but she's had up to five. The downstairs doesn't look THAT huge to accommodate that many bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs.

Every time Martin mentions living at her condo I keep thinking he must be sleeping on the couch.

If Charlotte is going to be "privotal" then they need to recast and slightly SORAS. The charisma the OG actress had as a kid is long gone and she looks bored with portraying the role even in her behind the scenes candid photos. Get a blondie like Genie and Alexa who has screen presence and charisma like her father and the potential to be the next Helena.

They recast Dalton actor’s role on y&r. So he took anything to be able claim he was busy. May not have been intended to be a significant role.
