Fuck their religion.

by Anonymousreply 2July 31, 2025 1:16 AM

This has to be a mistake. Evangelicals love their gays. They only hate trannies.

by Anonymousreply 3July 31, 2025 1:30 AM

And so it begins!!

by Anonymousreply 4July 31, 2025 2:13 AM

Roberts would work to get Barrett and/or The Lying Drunk to ensure a majority, but a watered-down "leave it to the states" approach could crap on our rights just as easily.

In destroying the norms of the federal government in civil rights and many other things, handing authority to the soon-to-be permanent MAGA majorities in red states, we'll see a redrawn North and South, at least until anything reflecting American ideals and values is gone.

Just what Vlad wanted, r5.

by Anonymousreply 6July 31, 2025 2:27 AM

They’re not going to overturn it. You unmarried Queens can relax. 😆

No one has ever said that on here, Troon.

by Anonymousreply 8July 31, 2025 2:40 AM

R8, you missed the poster's point.

Are you sarcasm-blind?

by Anonymousreply 9July 31, 2025 2:45 AM

R9, they don’t have a point. Evangelicals hate everyone. Always have, always will. Had this been about a Republican, he would have had a point, but it’s not. Evangelicalism is its own thing and no one here has even said that politicians should suck up to them for a vote or that they don’t really hate us. They hate Jews and Catholics too.

by Anonymousreply 10July 31, 2025 6:39 AM

R10 the court is not taking up the question because the Evangelicals asked them to. They are taking up the question because the court itself wants to and they are using the Evangelicals as the excuse to bring it to the table.

Do they allow the Amish to make us get rid of cars, electricity and high school?

by Anonymousreply 12July 31, 2025 8:20 AM

R11 the Court has not agreed to take up the question, nor will it. This a weak attempt to revive a dismissal from years ago.

by Anonymousreply 13July 31, 2025 9:05 AM

What a mind-numbingly stupid thing to say R12.

by Anonymousreply 14July 31, 2025 9:28 AM

This year is their lucky year...

by Anonymousreply 15July 31, 2025 10:05 AM

r14, r12 makes an excellent point. The Amish don't believe in technology like cars, electricity, etc. Yet they don't try to shove that down our throats. The evangelicals could stand to learn a lot from the Amish.

by Anonymousreply 16July 31, 2025 4:51 PM

How about we leave the Amish out of it? They're as right-wing as evangelicals and they vote now, too. No they're not making us give up cars but they are supporting the same politicians that want to take away our rights. The Amish are no saints.
