Albums?

I love cardigans. Pullovers aren't flattering on me. I own at least 10. They're all in storage at the moment, though. Who thinks about sweaters in July?

I went through a phase in my 20s where I was wearing a lot of vintage cardigans. Some were my dads, some I bought at thrift stores. I eventually grew out of that.

The problem I have with them now is that the ones I can find feel too long and don’t hang the way I like. I bought a really nice black, part cashmere one about 15 years ago that I really loved, fit perfectly, but in my last move I think it got put in the “donate” pile, sadly.

I buy them a size too small for that reason, R4. They tend to "hang" and droop, but they have more give than a pullover because of the buttons, so a smaller size is more forgiving. I layer with a slim fit shirt so it's not too bulky.

R3 - I'm with you. Pullovers are for outdoor winter wear when you need that constant warmth. You're stuck in them and can't regulate temperature by opening the sweater or a few buttons.

I hate ALL pullovers - even long sleeved t-shirts, Baja shirts, etc.

I like anything with a zipper or buttons - but not necessarily the traditional cardigan style with the low v-neck cut and buttons.

I wear them when I am cradling my mug and trying to power through my fibromyalgia.

Just one. My dad's. Made in Scotland of 4-ply cashmere in 1960. You can't even get something of this quality nowadays unless you spend four figures.

I exclusively wear v-neck buttoned cardigans, aka "Mr. Rodger's sweaters." They're a timeless look that flatters me in my 50s. I also like that they show more of the shirt underneath. I don't care for zip-ups, stand-up collars or shawl-collars, they all feel too warm and look too fussy for me, but others seem to pull them off well.
