Rolling Stone did a story on Queer Eye and alleged "rage issues" with JVN.

The stars reportedly competed for screen time, especially Jonathan Van Ness, who is reportedly difficult to work with.

Four Queer Eye production sources and three sources who worked with JVN said the reality star was terrible to work with, using words like “[bold]monster,” “nightmare,” and “demeaning.” Three called the star emotionally “abusive” and having “rage issues,” [/bold] and all seven sources said the star would lash out at crew members and people who worked closely with them.

“[There’s] a real emotion of fear around them when they get angry. It’s almost like a cartoon where it oozes out of them. It’s intense and scary,” one said.

During filming, one production source said that JVN would explode at least once a week, describing the star as “a yeller.” (JVN did not respond to the outlet’s request for comment.)
