Messy. Philip Roth was more of a diva than opera singer Anna and treated her like shit when he was married to Claire. It’s nice she wants to keep her promise to her father.

On the other hand, Anna is 65, and it's just stuff. She should let it go, and extend her own life in peace for more years. Fighting to get the awards will consume her life otherwise. She can treasure memories and other mementos instead.
