I googled for photos of Edward VIII and Duke of Windsor as a child to compare to same age Prince George. I don't see any resemblance at all. I see some resemblance with that photo of the Duke of Windsor as an adult.

R90 is so funny. According to him, George could have worn a jumper if that was his mother's choice. In other words, r90 still believes an adult should have told George what to wear. So what's the problem if an adult chose a suit for him instead? He seems to like wearing his suits.

Nearly all British children, no matter what economic class they belong to, wear uniforms to school. This is the case for both State (public) schools or private schools. In many cases these uniforms include ties and jackets (for boys and girls). Wearing an actual suit is not a big deal for a British boy, he probably wears a version of one to school every day.
