So when you encounter low intellect people, simple questions sometimes make them change their minds or at least question the stupid ass theory that someone in church told them. Ok Trump isn’t the reason.

These places did close down so why. Let them answer. And then further ask why did a seemingly functional, successful medical business not only choose to close down but is also lying about the real reason, which you think they want to be known since it actually affected and made them have to shut down. Why are they choosing to blame Trump and isn’t a weird confidence that not only did they have to close down in a real reason unrelated to Trump but also weirdly refusing to state that reason when Trump’s policies may have been beneficial to them because it could successfully reversed the unrelated to Trump but negative reason that suddenly forced them to abruptly shut down.

The article OP linked explained that the hospital was already losing money and scrambling to find a way to stay open.

If I were running that hospital, faced with the certainty of cuts coming, I'd give up too. Why go through all the work, effort, and ultimately, begging for the money and help to stay open knowing that in less than 2 years, few of the patients you serve will have any insurance or way to pay for the care? Further, the cuts to Medicaid won't be all at once and as fewer and fewer people are covered or rural hospitals reimbursed and lower and lower rates, this slow closure will end up costing whoever owns the facility more than if they cut their losses now and just close up. Maybe the hospital/system in the town 40 miles over will take it on... probably not since they're facing the same situation as this little facility. Would not surprise me at all to hear that that hospital/system is closing down, too, seeing the future as bleak as it is.

It does not further surprise me at all that local residents/Trump voters don't hold Trump accountable, for he is Jesus come to rescue them from the evil transgendered liberal commie pinko homos (who not coincidentally, are the people whose taxes pay for this local hospital, but whatever). The pièce de résistance is the woman who thinks that Trump will come in at the last minute and save them as though Trump could find this little shithole on a map with three bimbos circling it with sharpies.

We have to accept the fact that about a third of the voting populace is simply gone and will never vote in their best interests, and therefore when they die from lack of basic medical care, it's just another casualty of the Trump era.
